hey guys , ive been thinking is the u.s. under attack, because ill im seeing on tv is a shooting or bombings, explosins. i mean is ot me or does anyone else think this? because theres no way that this a mishap. just like the guy they found the second suspect in a boat, and they said he got his green card on 9-11-12. no is that a shocker or what. and now theres a shooting in mass.

No, all it means is that explosions and shootings get high ratings for news agencies. There was a single criminal incident this week. Everything you heard was from the one incident. It included the Boston Marathon bombing, the murder of an MIT Police officer, a massive shootout in Watertown, MA, and a manhunt in Watertown, MA.

The only other thing that happened was a fertilizer factory explosion. That was not a criminal incident; it was what happens when a fertilizer plant catches fire (fertilizer being highly, highly explosive).

Just another day in the USA.

Tuesday - Ricin Letters to President and Senator

Wednesday - Explosion in West

Thursday - (night) Firefight and suspects flee dropping bombs behind them, one cop killed another seriously wounded.

Friday - Boston under complete lock down, another shoot out; suspect apprehended.

 

I'd say that's a pretty shitty week.

And the explosion in Texas was not planned; that's for sure.

there is nothing nice i can say so i wont but you do realize his family and his brothers families were granted asylum long long ago? asylums are typically politcal based on which faction our government supports at the time.

Well, at least in the end both of the scumbags that started it are no longer on the loose, that a positive.

It sounds like the English language is under attack.

Being from just outside Boston the events starting Monday afternoon shattered our state, We were attacked on Monday by 2 people. Then from that point on the the hard work of the Boston Police, State Police, FBI, ATF and Homeland Security we were no longer under attack. The entire state came together joining hand and hand with law enforcement to assist the search. Its common for outsiders to believe we were under attack in the Greater Boston area. They choose the wrong city to miess with, they do call us Massholes for a reason.

Sadly there's a lot worse happening in the world, and considering the stuff in Boston was pretty bad, that really is quite a disturbing truth.  Perhaps worse though is that for the innocent people in Syria being caught up in a civil war all day, they don't have only 2 armed suspects and 9,000 police officers to protect them - they have 2 warring factions with Islamic fundamentalists and terrorists trying to get their way, the government trying to retain its grip on power and the ordinary innocent people caught in between simply trying to survive.

I think they came to the US nearly a decade ago.  They're both US citizens.  The older brother was married to an American I believe, and they had a daughter.  The younger brother is reported to be very intelligent and was awarded a scholarship to study medicine.  He was also an amateur wrestler for his university team.

In Syria, the issue is that there really ISN'T anyone there to protect them - the security forces are also a threat to civilians.

Good that in Latvia isnt nothing like that..
