Any members using this script please let me know of any bugs as I'm starting to work on this script again now that everything has been fixed with my GPS script, and I'd like to get any bugs or problems squished before continuing with the development of this script.

Hello members, just a quick update. I've already updated the first post, but I'll also post it here so people get to see it.

 

Version 0.1.2.2 is now in the downloads section. This is a Public BETA as I'm unable to test multiplayer functionality, so I'm leaving it up to the users of the mod to inform me if there are any issues.

 

Please let me know of any problems. It sucks that I am unable to test this myself, so I am depending on the community to help me. Thanks again for everyone's help.

V 0.1.3.0 has been released (currently pending) and fixes the problem with the blips spamming the map, this should make it better to play with. I have also made some changes so that only the players in uniform will see the blips not just anyone with the script on so that will help with No Blip players.

 

Thankfully I am able to test the script again so everything should be good, please continue to report any issues that you are having here on this thread. I am now going to start working on the GPS function of the script and it will then be almost finished :)

I've been trying to test out ADMs but it keeps coming up with a script error whenever i attempt to load the game.

Hi there, what is the error that you are getting? Did you install all the files correctly as explained in the ReadMe.txt, and what version are you using? To find this out you can right click the file, click on properties, then click on details, and what does the File Version say? The current version is 0.1.3.1.

I'm in the process of testing out 0.1.4.0, but I need to get in game with a few people to help me out. Add me on Steam with the username below and we will get in to a game. I've added quite a few new features and would like to test it out before releasing to the public, but I don't really have anyone else to test it with.

Ok just a heads up 0.1.5.0 was supposed to be the release of the GPS function, but due to so many errors with the 0.1.4.0 script's addition of the blips (and most of the GPS functions) it will be mostly a fix, there has been a few steps towards getting the GPS function added, but I want everything else working fully before I add all GPS function.

 

0.1.6.0 will feature the initial release of the GPS function and then it will be bug fixes and then 1.0 will be released after all bugs have been squashed.

 

This has been quite a bold and long script to build and test, and it's been a lot of fun and frustration trying to find testers to help make sure that everything works. I hope that once everything is released that this script becomes a replacement for DAS as that is what I had in mind when I started to design this script. I had two goals when I started to make this script.

 

1) Add support for EMS and Firefighter's as the LCPD:FR community has grown beyond just police.

2) Fix the temperamental GPS feature that DAS has.

Will there be any chance of adding non-police be able to be on ADAMs? Like Enforcer, Clubfit, Prison/Prisonoam, etc?

So I managed to get online and test out ADMS looking pretty good so far, not sure why the GPS function did not work, but I will test that out more later, what I did notice is that I failed to make it show what your unit is, so I'll be releasing an update later today that will add that in.
