Hello, i like to ask, will there be an update so we can pick the new Invetero Coquette D10 Pursuit?

 

I'm pretty sure you can spawn and use it using something like Addon Spawner or Simple Trainer and add it to backups/agencies messing with the .xml files, what do you mean pick it? Maybe I'm missing something 🙂

Hello, im sorry, i should have made it more clear.

Im asking for option for that car when im in the police garage, you know where we can pick all the police vehicles.

I dont think i can do that with the xml files. Tho, i could be wrong?

Any help doing that is greatly appreciated, with what the name of the car is and what to write.

And if so in trainer. what name should i be looking for?

I'm assuming they're referring to the new Online update that released the new police vehicles. However, I don't think they've been made available to us yet. Not sure.

I'm not sure who is in charge of updating stuff like that but I'm assuming it probably is a pain in the ass to add to LSPDFR so we might not see it until Jan. Fingers crossed though!

You can add the cars via the dutyselection xml found in your lowercase lspdfr > data folder. 

Don‘t forget to also add the vehicle to your agency.xml (same path).

Do you know how exactly to do that? Or is there a good video someone has made that explains it? I've never done it and I really don't want to mess up my game. (Rockstar's pretty good at doing that anyway lol)

If you’re stuck at some point, create a new, own thread and ask for help there.

Hello, thanks for reply, this sounds awesome, tho, i dont know what the vehicle is called so i think that would make it very hard for me 😞

Check the latest patchday (at least that’s where I assume the car was added to) and note down the spawn name (file name without the .yft ending).

I found it and tryed and it does not work. Thanks for reply tho.

Sorry man, wish I knew what's wrong with these files, but apparently everything should be working.

 

I always use a trainer to spawn my police cars and I use Ultimate Backup to customize the backup units, which is a little bit easier at least for me.

 

I spawn this specific car with Addon Spawner or Simple Trainer, but I didn't set up for backup yet because I just updated my game and got everything working again 😄

Could you please post a picture from SP with LSPDFR? Cause that picture is not.

Sure:

 

Addon Spawner works in SP and/or LSPDFR and you can spawn it there as well.

Can you explain exactly what you did (in terms of installing the files)? If not here, I made my own thread for it as well.

how did u get the new cars i tried simple trainer but nothing happened

 

I did not get it to work at all, the trainer or rage cmd wont let me spawn it.

I think it is LSPDFR that "blocks" me doing it and why do i say that?

Because i removed ALL other plugins and scripts and asi files and ALL other DLC cars and whatnot mods i have, so i only have lspdfr and trainer and tryed simple and Enhanced Native Trainer and they both fails to spawn this car.

I could make it a DLC mod car, i found all the files for it.(meta), but then the point of the car goes out the window.

I think im going to just move on and use better cars than this, there are LOADS of those here on this site or on GTA5 mod site.

 

To the Moderators here, i would like to keep this thread open just incase i find a solution or if anyone else finds it and wants to post a reply here to help all of us.

Did you add the new dlc to dlc list? Because thats what blocked me to spawn the new police cars.

Hello, this is an update. I got new cars working, the last thing i was missing was like vm.tyas wrote, missing the DLC text.

 

So to anyone who wants the new police cars to your Police Garage you need to do this:

BEFORE YOU DO THIS!!!! BACKUP YOUR FILES "dlclist.xml AND duty_selection.xml AND agency.xml" !!!!

Open OpenIV and go to folder:

Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\update.rpf\common\data

Go edit the dlclist.xml and add this

<Item>dlcpacks:/mp2024_02/</Item>

Then save it and close OpenIV.

 

Then go to your lspdfr\data folder and edit these two files:

duty_selection.xml and agency.xml

Put this into agency.xml :

<Vehicle is_mp="true" use_modkit_liveries="true" livery_multi="1,2,3,4,5,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20">polcoquette4</Vehicle>
                                <Vehicle is_mp="true" use_modkit_liveries="true" livery_multi="1,2,3,4,5,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25,26,27">polcaracara</Vehicle>

<Vehicle is_mp="true" use_modkit_liveries="true" livery_multi="1,2,3,4,5,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25,26,27">polterminus</Vehicle>

 

Then save and close the xml file.

 

Put this into duty_selection.xml :

<Description name="Invetero Coquette" fullName="Invetero Coquette D10 Pursuit" agencyRef="lspd">polcoquette4</Description>

<Description name="Vapid Caracara" fullName="Vapid Caracara Pursuit">polcaracara</Description>

<Description name="Canis Terminus" fullName="Canis Terminus Patrol" agencyRef="lspd">polterminus</Description>

 

Then save and close the xml file

 

I have just put them under LSPD section only, there i can put any livery that i want to on it, if i wanna be Sheriff or what ever.

I guess you could put them under each angency, but whats the point when you can just pick and style the car at the first agency.
