i installed the new vdh helper and the new policing tools made by sniper. since i took them off i am still having my game crash after a minute or a few seconds. any help would be nice. is there other ways to unistall the policng tool by sniper? i dont get whats going on! any advise would be nice thank you.

SMPA60 is caused by two things.

 

 

Saving a car at a safehouse, Then modding it. (Corrupts your save too)

 

And by CAR MODS in general.

 

If you use ELS/Modded cars, That's the cause. Try to find modded cars with a low poly count (Or as close looking to the orignial as possible) Or don't mod them if it causes frequent crashes. Also if you use ELS make sure in the .ini to configure stuff (Make sure ELS isnt enabled on NON els cars. And also to reduce crashing smpa60 or not turn off AI using ELS lights.)
 

If you don't use modded cars at all, Then i have no clue why you are getting SMPA60. But SMPA60 is caused by car mods in general so like I said, Try to find some low poly cars that won't make your game crash

Well. You say you like els compared to non...Yet you say you don't mod your cars and don't know how. That confuses me.

 

 

Anyways, If you don't mod cars then you shouldn't be getting SMPA60....Make sure you back up your orignial GTA files, Otherwise you have mods? If you have any mods/scripts installed how many do you have? Too many i suppose can cause SMPA60...But its usually only Car mods. Otherwise Re-install gta IV. All i can think of

oh shit my bad i thought u meant mod them as in make changes to them my self as in making my own cars... not replacing im sorry... not too sure what the specs are. i can get that in a bit got to head out. be back in a bit

Thats fine, So in that case DO you have custom cars? (Have you replaced cars with custom ones)? With ELS? If so. Theres your problem. Download more low-poly custom cars.

New Alaska State Troopers car?? I dont think this is the cause of it.... the vehicle is extremely low poly. It might be other car mods you are using... I have done my very best to keep my models with the lowest poly. the car's .wft file size is only 2.92mb and that is considered Low Poly.

i am not sure how to fully unistall it. forgive me for being stupid but how do you fully do so? honesty i want to use it looks fun. and i removed script file. edit i also have been using your updated vdh i am loving it!!! thank you! now to get the game to stop crashing so i can see what all it has to offer me in game play!

hey buddy im sorry i didnt mean yours. i believe i may have one of yours that im using already. i like the alaska trooper cars since atleast they seem to have the wig wags i like on the crown vics. edit i am using your trooper car its the unmarked one that i believe u released recently. i love it by the way.

Also, try not to mod police and police2 as they spawn all the time and that can wreak havoc on textures (causing flashing and popping).  I do mod my police, police2, police3 and police4 but I only use non-els low poly (under 1meg .wft) cars.  I only enabled ELS for my Policeb and nStockade, which I have a nice ELS high-poly bike in my policeb and sweet high-poly ELS CVPI in my nStockade slots...that's it.  No crashing, no texture loss/popping and decent frames.  I also have a nice mid-poly in my Noose slot but it's non-els.

 

With lower to mid systems you have know how to manage the modded cars without it messing with game play.  A lot of trial and error involved.  Good luck, hope it works out!

Just uninstall your custom cars (You can use your backup vehicles.img and replace it or download a clean one online) Then ONLY put low poly cars in from then on. scripts shouldn't cause TOO Much crashing, As for your specs (Depending on your OS) Hit your windows button, Hit R then Run should come up. type in dxdiag and some of your specs should come up (Processor, Graphics card just check the other tabs.) If your specs arent too good then i suggest put your game on lowest settings and look online for other stuff. Some computers just arent meant to play GTA (Especially laptops). Remember to install low-poly cars and as said before don't install them on police and police2 (
