2nd Generation Intel® Core™ i7-2630QM processor 2.00 GHz with Turbo Boost 2.0 up to 2.90 GHz

6GB3 Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM at 1333MHz

640GB4 SATA hard drive (5400RPM)

NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 525M (128-bit) 2GB

Nice choice then :D

Thanks hoping this thing will help me out with my Computer science classes. That and give me something to do when not in the field with ROTC. My July is shaping up to be pretty good: getting this laptop for 18th birthday and going to see Motley Crue with my girlfriend when she gets back from NM.

So where did you find a laptop like that for that cheap? My only concern if its not coming from a vendor and one of those pieces of hardware goes out then you're gonna be paying out of pocket. Sounds like a sweet machine though

This thing is coming STRAIGHT from Dell. My mother bought her last two from third party venders and they've both sucked. Best thing about getting one from Dell is Mcafee anti-virus comes stock.

hmmm Interesting, I have one of their XPS M1730's and I've burned through 3 video cards Nvidia cards. Be sure to get a chill mat for it, dell is notorious for making systems that do not ventilate properly.

Thanks for the tip. I'll be sure to get one from my cousin.

why do you buy a laptop ? my oppinion is PC...cuz its much better but it's your money:)

If you had read my post you would know I have to have a laptop for college. I know desktops are better for gaming but right now this is my best bet.

@:BroCop: If you want I can post the link to the computer on Dell's website?

@MikZer: If it was not coming directly from Dell I would be very wary of it. But I love the 3 year service plan I'm adding to it. (Just in case ;) )
