Seriously. I just finished setting up a fresh install and rockstar decided to drop this shiny new turd right in the middle of me getting the last few add-ons in order. I thought I broke my game until I checked the update history lol.

It looks they've introduced BattlEye, which may prevent the usage of script modifications (e.g. Scripthook V, LML and RPH including LSPDFR) in this version going forward. We will need to analyze this more, and we'll have more information later in the day.

Could contain: text, screenshot, font, display, number

Edit: Looks like BattlEye can be DISABLED in the launcher settings. So false alarm here, potentially.

Could contain: text, screenshot, software, computer icon, multimedia software, operating system, multimedia

Edit2: Can confirm after disabling BattlEye I can use LML normally (which usually doesn't need a game update). There could still be changes to how the game is obfuscated that could delay an update, but the BattlEye part considering it can be disabled, shouldn't interfere with singleplayer modding.

Edit3: If this post isn't clear enough - LSPDFR will still need an update for this version.

I'd just like to add some info for Epic Games users,
currently launching the game directly through the Epic Games Launcher (Even with Battleye disabled in the Rockstar launcher) will launch the game with Battleye as well.

What you have to do is to open the Rockstar Game Launcher, (disable battleye of course), then click "Play on Epic" and only after that launch the game through the Epic Launcher, otherwise it doesn't work at all.🙃

There's a GTA V update, you'll need to now wait for a LSPDFR update. (P.S; There is no 'lcpdfr' for GTA 5).

Cyan

First of all thank you for your answer. I am kinda new to this game ( set the game and all the mods I wanted last Sunday) and I was planning to play today until this happened. After some research to the site I figured out that I could have backup my mods game and not only the GTA v. My question is after the rage plugin hook and the lcpdfr  update do I have to reput the mods (stop the ped, ultimate backup, callouts, eup etc) ? Again thank you for your response.

(Sorry for my bad English I am still learning)
