Fraps or Bandicam

Featured Replies

Hey Guys,

I have been making LCPDFR YouTube videos for quite some time now, and i use fraps to record them and after a while, the FPS drop is just amazing. So i am wondering if Bandicam does the same thing. I don't wanna pay until i hear if its good or not. So if you guys prefer Fraps or Bandicam, please tell me.

Thanks

I prefer Bandicam for sure. Much smaller file sizes and doesnt cause those huge fps drops..

When i get more replies i will decide and i have tried the trial of Bandicam and you are right, it is way better than Fraps.

Hello,

Take a look at our Communities Videos on YouTube, since one of our members uses bandicam to record all of our patrols. His You Tube name is Polecat324

Wow, no lag at all!

I use Bandicam. The file is smaller and easier to upload. With FRAPS, I took a 10 minute GTA Role-Play video and it was over 1GB. Bandicam I can record for 30 and its almost 1GB.

Hope I helped.

I think i am going to use Bandicam with all of these replies.

Also I think you might know already but you need to register it or else on the top of the video it says www(.) bandicam(.) com. and you can only record for 10 minutes.

I use FRAPs and it is meh. The FPS drop is nuts!!! I already get low FPS, around 20-25, but when I try to record with fraps it drops to around 5-10 fps. I have been wanting to make more LCPDFR videos because I have one, but it lags sooooo much I can't, and if I record for too long the file is huge! I recorded a 25 min long video and the file size was almost 55 gigs. So I'll have to try bandicam.
