How to take nice screenshots in LSPDFR

Featured Replies

I'd like to take some nice screenshots of my game but I don't know how to change camera shots... Can you help me please?

Is there a mod to make that?

This is how I used to do it:

You record some seconds of the gameplay via the rockstar editor. Then you open the same clip inside of the rockstar editor. In the camera menu you select free cam and zoom in, adjust the camera to your liking. The H key hides the entire HUD and with a program like Lightshot or the windows snipping tool you can save your creation.

There are also third party scripts available but this seems to be the easiest solution if you’re not keen on installing anything else specifically for taking pictures.

Small addition: The OpenCameraV.asi which you can install via the asi manager inside of openiv will allow you to exceed GTAs native camera boundaries.

I also personally would never recommend messing with the filters when you're taking your screenshots. Rockstars filters are not the best, and from my experience in the end it turns out dull and messes with effects that I try to add to, per say Instagram or if I try to edit it later.

Also if you are taking a screenshot where there is emergency lighting,, you may need to play with the placement of the player. (Change where you are in the clip) as sometimes it doesn't pick up frame for frame.
