Hello dear Community

 

I post this problem hear since this is the GTA V & Rage Hook thread.

 

Since a few days I got the two problems;

- Ragepluginhook.exe is forced running as admin despite "Run as Administrator" is NOT ticked

- While Rage Hook is hooking the Game instance, sometimes, it crashes instantly, sometimes it crashes while loading into story mode with RPH.

No, it crashed again, my guess is that something is wrong with ragehook but I cant find it out with the .log

 

And I still dont know why my pc is always asking for admin rights to start ragehook.

To avoid this, you can add the Main Directory to the exceptions list for anti-virus. Restart PC. Re-install manual LSPDFR.

- Just checked and yes, it does. But as usual, I dont know why. Because I didnt modify game files in the last few weeks. Just downloaded some callouts and a plugin which I both deleted now.

- Yeah doesn't work either, somehow my pc just ignores everything I do and keeps wanting an admin conformation to start ragehook.

As requested.

Remove ScriptHookV.dll. Try again.

Removed it. And it worked. But I dont understand, ScriptHookV.dll is needed to run the scripts and plugins?

Add it back. Rename ELS folder to _ELS and try again.

Everything seems to be working "normally" now.

 

Also the problem with launching RPH with admin rights (for no reason) seemed a problem caused by my PC itself or some damages windows files.

Sounds like you have a fault ELS xml. You can try removing the ones you have installed one by one and testing after each removal to find the issue.

Do I need to write anything for the F4 menu in the game after I add a mod or make any changes in the mod folder? Because whenever I install a mod, when I type LoadPlugin LSPD First Response it kicks out of the game. A few times I solved this problem by typing UnloadAllPlugins followed by ReloadAllPlugins. In short, what should I write there every time I enter a game?
