The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

I apologize in advance if this is in the wrong topic, I don't post here too often.

 

I was in the middle of playing some LSPDFR, and I had a subject who was revived following a vehicle pursuit. EMS transported my subject, and I charged him with his crimes, but I was wondering if there are any mods that allow you to escort the ambulance carrying your subject to the hospital. I know there are the some callout packs that feature ambulance escorts, but is there any script or anything that allows you to escort charged subjects? Thanks in advance 🙂

Doubt its possible at all. But i like the idea, so i will make a test

i am riding shotgun in the passenger-seat in an ambulance that is driven by a paramedic.
If your ambulance also have extra seats, it should be possible to make your playerCharacter ride along in the ambulance.

If i should make this, what key would you prefer as the key for to enter the ambulance' passenger seat?

The way i have it implemented should make it useable in any mod or as seen here, base-game.
But in my further tests i have seen something quite remarkable.
The 'ride-shotgun' method kind of set playerCharachter under AI-control, because the route and the explicit driving is now controlled by the AI.
In case of a AI controlled critical event, especially shoot-outs PlayerCharacter is 'In for the ride'. You loose control over PlayerCharacter and the AI takes over!
That results in PlayerCharacter moving/ driving, shooting, and talking completely autonomous! You can lean back, touch nothing and the game plays itself!
That is something quite amusing -at least for while..
when the game-critical situation is terminated, the controls goes back to You.

I have not found the reason for what started it, so i cant reproduce. I made some more test and this time my driving Ped felt like going into business as competitor to RayanAir....

That was also completely unexpected, and i also have no idea why that happened. In fact the method is unpredictable
In another test, The driver acted with exemplarity, and joined callout-chases, called backup and made arrests. I was just an observer..
That is kind of not playing a video-game
But i will build a dll if you like, just tell me a key for the activation.
I have it on Digit-7. It does not interfere with weapon-select on Digit-7.

Thank you all for your responses on here! I honestly didn't expect any traction on this post lol. @GTAbear, I'd be interested in testing your script. How does it work? Could I theoretically enter an ambulance at any given time, or does this only work while a callout is active (the latter being preferred)? Having been on several medical escorts myself, it would certainly add a level of interaction and realism to the game! Thanks 🙂

Sorry it is at any time, and in not only ambulances, but in any vehicle, provided it has a passenger-seat.

I did not write a dedicated exit-car method, but just uses default-exit (F)
It is not a script, it is a LSPDFR-Plugin, so it is a dll.
I will gladly make you one. If you have a preference key for the event, let me know -Default i use '7', but that just because almost all other keys are used 😛
I made a video of an early version of my policeUtility
-plugin -Link in signature, but i have expanded it a lot
