I need help. When i try to start up the rage hook plugin it says: The current game version is not supported. i havent been playing since December but want to start playing again. but i cant seem to fix this problem. Ive tried to install a new version of both lspdfr, the rageplugin and ragenative but nothing works. what am i missing?

Normally a simple revert to your saved backup via rage would correct the error..  but for some time Rockstar has required Social Club verification to launch.
The old tricks do not work, and I just came back myself recently, and offline play is not even an option nor is bypassing the Club verification.
I have no idea if it is now a possibility or not.

Standing by for more info, but the net says.. Rockstar claimed this was a ' glitch '.
I doubt it.

Have to wait on a new Ragehook update I guess. 😕

Works fine here. Launcher didn't change my files.
(at least on steam version - won't test the others)

Yep, but unfortunately to my knowledge this feature no longer works. 😦

It hasn't done for a little while now.

I dont use rage to backup, i useually just copy the folder (the whole game folder) to another drive, then when the game updates, i rename the game folder to (GTA 5 - BAD UPDATED) and then copy over the backup folder i have on the other drive to the Game drive, and im good to go, altho this does take 30-40 mins for my system to do cuz the game folder is so big

im pretty new to pc gaming. should i just wait for a new update for lspdfr or is it anything i can do to make it work. it says that the installed game version is 2845.0 and the supported game versions are 2824.0. is this just something i have to wait for or what should i do?

I'd just wait. Things will be updated soon, your best option is just playing something else in the meantime! 😄

And if you use Scripthookv, well Alexander who updates the program lives in the Ukraine. What with the war going on, it may take a long time before that gets updated.

That guy is dead on... as long as he keeps it up goofballs like me who forgot to copy files, or have been out of touch with LSPDFR and let a lot of changes with R.S.games go on unnoticed can get back. 
His files work A++

 

I fixed this by opening rage plugin hook and reverting my game. This still did not let me play so then I went into an older backup I had and dragged the following 4 files into my GTA directory. This should fix your game as well.
