Set Vehicles

It'd be nice to be able to manually enable and disable police3 and police4. I like using sports cars in police4, but that's the slot that spawns whenever I call for prisoner transport in EFLC. Somehow, I don't think real police send Ferraris to take suspects to the police station.

It would also be nice to deactivate or reduce police and police2 slots from spawning so many cruisers every minute... no need to see 2-4 police cruisers at every turn.

Editing the popcycle.dat file can do that. Lower the PercCopCars value for cars, and PercCopPed for officers on foot. You have to do it for every zone and every time period, so it might be better to use this mod: "Less Cops Around Liberty City".

For those who use police mods that aren't the originally intended vehicles in game, it'd be nice to set which vehicles can be spawned in a .ini

For example:

[carselectmenu]

car1=police1

car2=police2

car3=polpatriot

car4=noose

car5=nstockade

car6=pstockade

car7=fbi

car8=burrito2

car9=polmav

car10=avan

So that if I have a LCPD ESU mod for the Brickade (EFLC) or the Burrito (Laundromat Version), I can now have it easily available in game.

I 'm also hoping for an option to enable the LCPD:FR database in added vehicles using a method like that, too.

I knew about editing the popcycle.dat... however, I did not know that someone actually did that time consuming task. Thanks for the link...

IDK if this is a LCPDFR script possibility or a IV .dat or .cfg edit, but I would love to be able to restrict a vehicle to only police use, or to not have it spawn in traffic at all. That way, if I replaced my burrito2 with a LCPD Transport Van, I want it to either spawn with police officers at the helm, or not spawn at all so that no civilians could use it. I would be able to get it through a trainer or through the ini method above

My System:

Intel i7-2600k | ASUS P67 Sabertooth | NVIDIA GTX 560ti | Corsair 750W PSU | Corsair Vengeance 8GB | Lamptron Fan-Atic

If you remove burrito2 from the popcycle  group it's in and add it to the cop popcycle group, it should stop spawning elsewhere, but it won't count as a cop car since it's not in a police slot.
