My game won't load anymore (after I updated RAGE and Script Hook V for the new update).

 

The game starts, and it starts loading, but it won't ever load in fully. It used to only take 3-5 minutes, now I've left it for more than 15, and it won't load in.

I just had that same problem, I reinstalled the game or before I have verified game file integrity. Try the reinstall then put your mods back in.

My GTA V wont start with our without RPH. It loads but the splash screen wont show. The game has been updated correctly, rph, lspdfr, gameconfig, oiv mods folder and scripthook all have been updated. I've tried twice to remove mods folder and to verify files but nothing works.

RPH does not seem to work or load anymore. The error message "slow system or insufficient permissions" appears. I know this error and was able to resolve it in the past. Maybe it is Windows 11, not sure though. 

 

This did not work:

 

- Add exception to Windows Defender
- Run as administrator.
- Change the permissions of the GTA V folder
- Move the game to another SSD
- Run GTA V and RPH as administrator.

 

Specs:

 

Windows 11 (Version 10.0.22000 Build 22000)
ProcessorAMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor, 3600 MHz
Mainborad: B450M PRO-VDH
RTX 2080
RAM 32 2666 mhz

After doing this part, you need to re-install the latest version of RPH from either the manual LSPDFR download or from the RPH Discord. Then you need to restart your PC. For any further issues, please visit the appropriate forum section.

Thank you very much, that worked!
 

Here are the steps I took: 

1. Uninstall LSPDFR.
2. Add exception to Windows Defender or check existing one.
3. Manually download and install the latest version of LSPDFR.
4. Restart PC.
5. RPH is working now.

It has been a long three days of learning through trial and error how to add plugins, skins, dlc, fix issues, etc. And now I'm feeling confident enough to proceed further and make the experience as immersive and enjoyable as possible.

I regret not backing up before modding though. That'll soon be a huge mistake of mine.

If you have the hard drive space, be sure to have a vanilla (unmodded, untouched) copy of GTAV and rename this to Vanilla (or something like that).
Then have youre GTAV file you load up for LSPDFR (modded or not) separate and keep this as the default folder name.
And then when you add mods and addons, take your time and add one at a time (remove which ever mod is causing an issue instantly) and keep this file also separate, to be sure you keep a stable working version of the game (copy paste it and rename folder ie. Working, Stable).

This helped me greatly when learning the modding process.
When it all goes tits up and some how corrupts both your LSPDFR files, delete them completely and start from the fresh vanila GTAV file.

After converting the game to 2612 and trying to launch via steam/rph, I get this error message. "An unknown error occured. Please try again later. If the error persists, please visit the Rockstar Support website and stay tuned to service status updates." <--- Rockstar Games Launcher. I tried launching it offline but same thing happens. I tried launching rph when the game updated to 2612 and got the same error. Has anyone else recieved this error as me?

You may need to verify the integrity of the cache in steam or delete the ROCKSTAR GAMES launcher folder (it is the folder of the rockstar launcher itself!). At least it helped me

Yep did all that and not sure why my text is all in russian or chinese. I don't speak either of those languages.

oh, sorry, I have a Russian translator if you have a different language in the game, change it in steam
