In regards to ELS

Featured Replies

Hey guys, sorry if I have posted this here as I do not know where else to post it.

I have a question regarding ELS.

Now I have only played GTA IV a few times before and since I've only recently got back into the game on 360. So I have downloaded various different mods which I want to install onto the 360 version of the game and so I was just wondering if whether or not I could add ELS into that or does it already have ELS installed?

Don't get nasty with me, you can't put on car mods on xbox you can put like mods, like fly, and hacks with don't do the pc verison is els, and car mods, that is not xbox

Who says I'm getting nasty. I'm telling you it has been done.

I guess nobody here has ever tried or ever succeeded at it other than the PC version? And to point out I already knew about the hacks and the others which you can put on, I was down college the other day and whilst on break I noticed some guy playing GTA IV on 360 with custom mods in the common room. Obviously I did ask him how they got there but his response was "No idea mate, just got here and started playing and to my surprise there are custom mods".

But ok, if you guys know that you cannot do so. Then don't worry about it :)

I'm sorry, it's just some people come here and when we can't help them with what the want they start flaming toward everyone and everything. Anyway, to be able to get custom mods, you would need to get your xbox hacked, and unless you know how to do it yourself, it's gonna cost more money than if you were to go and buy the game on PC, and use an xbox controller with it.

Yeah. Hadn't thought of that tbh. Had done it with different games before on the 360, though I've not used it in a long while but eh. I could try that I guess.

That's ISO mods. Things that change the colour of the headlights or give you super speed in your vehicle. You cannot install car mods or anything else on console versions.

Processor: Intel i5-6600 @ 3.30GHz

GPU: MSI ARMOR GeForce GTX 1080 OC

Ram: 16GB Skylake

Exactly, this topic doesn't need to go any further. Its impossible to add any car mods, ELS, or anything related to what we do on this site to the xbox360. You can do like Harper said and change little meaningless things but you would take a risk of messing up your 360. Don't try it and have your fingers crossed that you will be able to install ELS or something because you won't. Even if you wanted to try this I don't think anyone here would be able to help you with that. You said you saw it before? In person or in a video? Because I can throw a video up online too and say its xbox360 gameplay. I don't even need to see a link because I know its impossible. Plus why is it such a big deal to have it for 360? for less than $50 you can buy IV for PC, a 360 controller, and VOILA you have a game that you can mod for free, if you screw it up you can just re-install, and it feels like your playing 360 since you have a controller!!

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the modding of Xbox games illegal? From my understanding modding Xbox games violates the TOS.

Indeed, real question is what isnt illegal...lol Kevin, any way I can PM you or speak to you briefly in teamspeak?

I doubt that you'll get arrested for it, but if you connect to Xbox live with any mods installed, they console ban you straight away.

Isn't modding the PC version also against the TOS?

Also, ELS is a script, and I believe that it literally cannot be made to work on xbox without access to the source code.

I'm not sure but thats the one and only reason I play the PC version. I love to modify the game just like everyone else and I wouldn't buy the game if I couldn't. If they don't want us to mod the game they sure didn't try very hard to stop it. Meaning everything is extremely easy to alter and change.
