Crash when calling backup

Help, Ive been playing lcpdfr for a long time now and i have the whole game tweaked to perfect except that when i begin a chase after about 20-30 min of play and i call for backup (usually 2 calls) GTAiv crashes. I have seen this issue in some other forums but no answers, has anyone had this and fixed it. I have ELS6 , trafficflow , various car mods and graphics mod. I have removed individual mods to try to isolate the problem but still does it its only when I call for backup, (not noose) thanks

Try it without the car mods since they usually crash people.

LCPDFR uses GTA IV's interal system to call backup, so it is exactly the same as if you call backup through the police computer, therefore there is no bug in the code. The problem here, as usual, is car mods. You just have to understand that GTA IV is a HORRIBLE console port and that it was never designed to be used with any mods whatsoever. When you add car mods to your game, you run a high risk of these issues as most of the time, the car mods that you download are 10 times larger than the original cars in GTA IV. When you add ELS to the mixture too, things can become very unstable.

There isn't any fix for this issue really, sometimes your car mods will work, sometimes they won't. You could try non-ELS cars though to see if that helps you out.

ELS V6 has been known to cause some issues for some people. I used to use V6 but it would crash my game so I moved down to V5 and haven't had a real crash in a while. Might be worth trying V5 and seeing if anything changes. I may have also removed excess car mods at the same time that I switched versions, but I'm not 100% sure.

I have a bunch of his cars, I think two... Two crown vics... I think its one of Luxart's cars though that causes my crashes.

@Iconography: I might try downgrading ESL tomorrow, see If I have more luck with it.
