Although I know that a fresh install is always recommended with a new update, I just wanna know, if anyone else out there, has installed the newest and latest versions of LSPDFR, ScriptHookV, and Rage Plugin Hook? If you have, was it successful? As in, is your game up and running? Or, are you having issues, such as, an infinite loading screen, crashes, certain mods/plugins not working, etc? Just curious if anyone has found a fix to these issues? I have reverted back to 2060.1 and my game is running smooth as it always has, but the new update has kind of got me puzzled and any input and/or help, would be greatly appreciated! Thank you all in advance!

Running fine for me, You got to make sure you get that new version of your update.rpf in your mods folder (The mods folder gets me everytime lol)

As of today, from when LSPDFR was updated, I have received multiple forums about an infinite loading screen, crashes, certain mods/plugins not working, etc. 
It's occasionally common in a new update!

Thank you so much man. I appreciate the feedback! Yeah I knew the update in OpenIV was there, just hadn’t messed with it up to this point because so many others we’re having issues once they updated it in the previous version. Thanks again man.

Even though this has technically  been solved, I will just add that like everyone else said, whenever Rockstar releases a Title Update, it will make your mods folder obsolete. The easiest, and best way, around this is to make a copy of the update.rpf in your mods/Update folder and put it on your desktop. Then go into Update and copy the update.rpf and paste it into mods/Update. This will no longer make your mods folder obsolete. Also, and this is important, doing this will wipe whatever was in your update.rpf prior to you adding the new one in. SO MAKE THE BACKUP BEFORE!

One more thing, would you also recommend a fresh install of GTAV? I know that’s a recommendation when new updates come out.

You can if you want to, but most stuff and be updated simply by just downloading the updates and installing them. It really isnt worth your time to re-install the game just for that.

Nothing much to add more than what others have already stated.

 

Here is what I did to get things smooth for me.

 

Personally I just deleted the mods folder completely.  I started with a fresh mods folder.  I copied over the update folder to the mods folder.  

Patchday24ng is working great for vehicle install btw.  Haven't noticed much of other problems thus far, but I will be on the look out for it and message you on discord if I need to.

I can kinda see the merit in deleting the whole mods folder cause some people would rather just have a fresh start. But I find it easier to just make a backup of the update.rpf in the mods location. Then copy the update.rpf from the Update folder and paste it into the mods/Update location. Then just add whatever edited files I had back in (i.e. dlclist.xml, meta's, gameconfig). Overall, it just saves you time so you dont have to re-install everything again. 🙂
