Well, just loading GTA5 by itself, no mods and the game crashed so possibly need to start from scratch. I'm very new to all this so perhaps that's my best bet. Will wait to see if any updates on this.

  • You can use either.  As for ScriptHook V, you only need that if you are using mods that use it.

Same problem...hopefully I don't have to reload from scratch, but I can't get the game to load either by itself or with LSPDFR.

Mine either. I just gave in and am in the process of redownloading GTA 5. Then I gotta reinstall everything. One hell of a chore.

When reinstalling GTA, delete the whole folder you currently have. You literally have to start from scratch. I learned my lesson last time and took pictures on my phone of my documents so that I can easily reinstall them once my clean version is done downloading.

Already way ahead of you. That is Gaming 101. If you are reinstalling a game due to a cockup then you delete the folder after uninstalling if the folder didn't already delete itself. You can f**k up a clean install again by not doing that.

Just found out that the NS3 server is down... That might be the problem there... It is a monitoring server.

After starting fresh I’m back up and running smoothly on all the latest updates and having no issues

I've been doin some troubleshooting, I loaded ScriptHookV, EUP menu and uniforms, LSPDFR, the player location display mod, Menyoo, and ScripthookV.Net all with no problem. I loaded in 3 OIV files from the latest (not updated for current GTA version) Dispatchworks pack and it started getting stuck. Gonna try installing all that except DW again and seeing what happens.

Me too. It gets to the point where it says it's loaded all my plugins then stops there.

Don't know why but it is taking forever to load up LSPDFR and ragehook plugins. Been at it for about 15 min already and still loading. What did I do wrong? And this is with the new LSPDFR files and everything.

The game loads perfectly. Just updated the ScriptHook V and RagePlugin. In the OpenIV copied the update.rpf to the mods folder.
When I hit F4 and enter the ForceDuty command, the game crashes.

What is the problem?

I just found a solution for the problem what I wrote a few mins ago:

  • Downloaded the latest LSPDFR from the site
  • Manually drag and drop everything from the zip to the game folder
  • I started the LSPDFR Configurator.exe and do every steps
  • Launched the game by the RagePluginHook.exe
  • The game loaded, hit F4 to open console, type the ForceDuty command
  • Happy dance

After that everything works fine, plugins loaded.

Just a tip: If you have rockstar launcher version of the game do a Verify Integrity and if you have mods in OpenIV copy update.rpf to mods folder

(The OpenIV will show you it in a pop-up message)

  • 4 weeks later...

This can’t be for just online tho, because I don’t have Cayo on SP
