Hello, I finally got the 0.91 version to run in my computer, after editing somethings from my laptop, but now the problem is that i dont have numpad, so there are many actions that i cannot do in game. Such as when you arrest someone at the street you cannot press any bottom of the box that pops up in th left conner . What can i do so that i can use those actions?

If you have a laptop you should have a [fn] key you can use that to press the keys with a [ ] around them, you can also set the keys in the FirstResponse.ini either that or get a cheap usb keyboard.

I´ve got the Fn key... so I just gotta press it and then press number 1 for example ? (number 1 above the letters)

Edit: Searching on the itnernet i came to a conclusion that the DV6 HP hasnt got the ability to lock numberpad, so the only solution would be change the keys in the firstresponse folder, but when i change the key it wont work ingame :S

yeah but it doesnt appear the num lock key on my keyboard, as it´s a laptop :S

If this is the same keyboard layout, you press and hold the [fn] key and press the insert key.

still cant figure out how to. I gave up a little lcpdfr as i couldnt find a solution to this.

Do you mind anyone sending me their bindkeys file changed into no numpad, so that i can keep playing?

On some laptops, you have to hold down the Fn key then press the number you want / key

Like other's have suggested, change the key bindings. It does work, I had to do this, changed my busy key to E as I had re-occurring issue with the F8 Key

Hint: the Fn key is next to the windows key.. or to make that even simpler, its two keys to the left of the spacebar on most laptops.

What if my f8, F9, F10 have a different function (Like low the volume, silence etc...) when i try to bind it to some other letter ingame i will see no difference:S

then press F8, F9, .... without holding your FN-key. :rolleyes:

sorry i may have expressed myself wrong. I meant that if i only press the f8 or f9 it would change volume (no need to press fn, as in older laptops)

On my laptop, when I hold the Fn key and hit a number key, it doesn't work. But when I use the fn key for say F8, it works. Like the other guy said, can someone send me their .ini file that doesn't include numpad keys.
