Callout spawn location

Featured Replies

I'm starting to learn how to write callouts but I was wondering if it is possible to code the callout to only spawn in a region (for example  on the beach), or do I need to collect coordinates to where to spawn those calls?

I can't say for certain but I suspect there isn't a particular region for spawning only at the beach.

PNWParksFan might be better suited to help you here though as he created coastal callouts.

I've moved your topic into the API section as it relates to LSPDFR development.

Sorry for the late response, I was wondering that if only the beach is not a viable option, is it possible to specify region as lspdfr does with the backups?

You can use the GetWorldZone function (I think that's what it's called) in the LSPDFR API, then check if the player is in the desired zone before starting the call.

You can create a zone, collect coords of vertexes + center (might also be calculated) and get random position within that zone.
