If you're running 1070 then the dsound option in LCPDFR 95RC2 should work fine, try running as admin etc. If it's not working and you have 1070 I have no idea what to tell you.

As stated the only alternative to dsound is the xliveless.

I dont know if this is the same, but i have had a problem for the last 2 weeks with the xlive.dll file not letting gfwl come up. so what i did is if i want to go into multiplayer i rename that file xlive2.dll and it works just fine. i dont know if that is the same problem your having. just trying to help.

xlive disables Games For Windows Live.

Thats why it wouldn't appear.

Processor: Intel i5-6600 @ 3.30GHz 

GPU: MSI ARMOR GeForce GTX 1080 OC

Ram: 16GB Skylake

Thats why i told him i have the same issue and if i rename the file it works just fine. I myself have no idea how to get rid of that.
