Hi,

Finally after long and hard work BogdanM and me proudly present:

The Ford 2012 Police interceptor.
To install read the readme otherwise the car doesn't work.

Credits:

Model is original Driver san Fransisco, modified for GTAV and marked to Police version by F5544.
Liveries are made by DoTTGaMMa/bxbugs123 and adapted to this version by BogdanM
Lspd liveries by BogdanM
Rhino Rambar/antenna’s made by F5544 and Textures F5544/Lt.Caine.
Whelen Justice Lightbar by Bxbugs123 converted to GTA V by F5544, textures by BogdanM and Bxbugs123.

What's New in Version 1.6.0

Released

V1.1 fixed the template, fixed the back siren, new siren lights(texture), fixed the radio display, fixed the shock absorbs. Fixed the rim reflection. Added new white black template. Fixed small issues.

V1.2 sorry fixed the interior lights. they were not showing up in the night.

Added the template in the zip.

V1.3 Changed the middle brakelight colour to red.

V1.4 replaced long antenna with a moving version.

V1.5 Fixed lightbar headlight right.

V1.6 Improved the details, mount for dashboard cam, handles for the spot, some chrome lines are black around the taillights, fixed the windows reflection(inside no reflection, outside reflection).

this is my vehicles.meta line for this vehicle and my rambar stays on so you can use it if you like and just change the name at the top to whatever police slot your using.......make sure the flag line is all one line for somereason here it makes it 2 lines but it should be one line

My flags line looks the same as yours but it still falls off after a small impact :/ If I change the name of the vehicle to police 3 (current slot), the game crashes.

did you make sure it is on the same line and not split into 2 lines? had another cat i was helping for like 3 days get his figured out he kept crashing check all your code and make sure theres nothing missing if you miss even one < or > itll crash so double check your handling, vehicles and variations files and make sure everything is perfect

why not invest your time in the 2014 model that you said to of have? I think that would be a better use of time then a 2012 Taurus sho model which no police department use

because the version that i have may not be combined. and that version to convert has not the greatest interior.

interior is the least part that's is looked at while using a car...I rarely look inside a vehicle so hopefully we will see the 2014 released soon

But those lights in the image are taillights just like the ingame model

Either I'm severely visually dyslexic or the guy's screenshot shows them lighting up the inner edges like he said, while the real pic shows the outer edges... ?

Figured out the problem, I was editing the wrong slot in the vehicles.meta. Edited POLICE3 slot which fixed it. (Edit the slot you have installed it in).

I'm having issues with the handling (same issues described by previous users) but I'm not sure how to fix it; I'm very new to this process. I've looked over the readme file several times and I'm pretty certain I've installed everything to the correct folders but I don't know where to go from here. Can someone explain which files I need to modify to correct the handling issues and how I go about doing that?

I've installed the model to police (aka police1); what other information do you need?

I love this car. Fords are my favorite. Running calls with the Ford interceptor and Ford Utility Interceptor is awesome. My only suggestion is to add files for the police two spot in the download. I think this will save you time in the long run from having to help people with the same question over and over.

I'm super confused. There is no read me. I click on the file .doc that's named "Read me or the car won't work" and it just brings up another folder with a bunch of stuff I don't understand.

 

Never mind, I got it opened in Word Doc, but I had to scroll down half way through to see the install instructions..

I noticed that one of the rear window LED lights (the blue one) isn't flashing and seems glitched. Not sure if this was already addressed, but if it was how do I install it?

@F5544 I'm trying to edit some of your liveries for a better logo on the car, but when I try to import police3.yft or police3_hi.yft in ZModeler it disables the import option, am I doing something wrong?

yep because it's a locked model. but for liveries you have to edit the ytd textures
