About

This is a mod designed to replace LSPDFR's Police Computer with a less boring one. As with the default one, you can search for people and vehicle plates. Apart from that you can locate said people on the map and get a wanted list from the LSPD HQ to hunt down criminals while you're bored. You also can do misc actions such as quit a callout and request Code 2 local backup. You also can use a gamepad!

I would love to hear your suggestions for new features!

 

Usage

Press G or DPAD Left(or whatever you have binded Throw Grenade to) while stationary in a police vehicle. Then navigate with keyboard arrows or the DPAD on the controller, selecting with Enter/Gamepad A and canceling with Backspace/Gamepad B.

While searching, you can use your keyboard or use the onscreen one.
 

Customization

You can change anything from the background color to the LSPD logo sprite. Just change RAGEComputer.xml located in the same directory RAGEComputer.dll is.

 

Installation

  1. Download and install Ragehook v26
  2. Download and install LSPDFR
  3. Place "RAGEComputer.dll" inside the GTA V/Plugins/LSPDFR/ directory.
  4. Place "RAGENativeUI.dll" inside the root GTA V directory.

Disclaimer

This mod accesses the internet to download pictures of peds from http://ragepluginhook.net/PedModels.aspx, make sure it isn't blocked in your firewall or all pictures will be question marks.

so does this work ok with 0.3or does it crash everytime ???  i havent upgraded yet was waiting on this and 1 more mod to update before i go ahead on update ...

The computer doesn't show and the native rage is not up to date

Could you update it to work with Albo1125's LSPDFR mods (Arrest Manager & Traffic Policer)

What does this mean?

it means when u have someone pulled over and ask for id then go back to your car and use the rage computer to look them up at the bottom of the screen it has the person name so if u forget it ..

Basically this is not really feasible to use with the key mapped to G. Would it really be that difficult to make an .ini like other Rage plugins and let the key be configurable to something like LControlKey-T etc?

That's not where you place the file. Place it inside Plugins/LSPDFR/ folder.

Basically this is not really feasible to use with the key mapped to G. Would it really be that difficult to make an .ini like other Rage plugins and let the key be configurable to something like LControlKey-T etc?
