What's New in Version 4.0.1

Released

***New in version 4.0.1***

Sorry everyone, I'm an idiot, somehow I accidentally put the Caprice texture in the FPIU folder and left out the FPIU all together

*****New in version 4.0*****

Completely re-did all textures, now that I'm a little better.

Added: Chevy Caprice

Added: ELS Compatible Crown Vic

Added: ELS Compatible Tahoe

Added: ELS Compatible FPIU

Removed: All previous textures, if you want the Impala, download 3.1. I'm not sure what models it will work with though.

They look nice and quite authentic. I was surprised that someone did a San Jose pack so fast. If I may, may I suggest that you make the "SAN JOSE POLICE" text on the back bigger and also put the unit number next to the headlights on the side of the hood? I'll get you a reference picture once I'm on a computer. Thanks!

EDIT: Like the number 1473 on the side, next to the headlights. Also, if you could do some skins for the 2008 skin variant that'd be great!

Thank you! I'm glad you like them. There's a number of updates I'm planning on doing (such as liveries for the Charger and Interceptor) and the side unit numbers is one of them. But thanks for the reference picture! And as for the 2008 CVPI, sure, I'd be glad to make one :)

does the cvpi skin work with the 2011 cvpi?

I'm not familiar with the 2011 model. Where do you find that one? As of now, the only one it comes with is for the 1999 CVPI, with the provided link.

That said (for anyone interested) I just finished the 2008 model from Dblock1989 as well as the default Granger. I will upload them soon.

There ya go man, added unit numbers and the 2008 Crown Vic. I couldn't make the "San Jose" any bigger though, because it began to warp the letters.

Enjoy!

I believe a sfpd skin pack exists? I know another author made lspd skins based off the sfpd logos. I am not sure though if he made the sfpd wording on any however.

Beautiful work! The attention to detail is amazing. I live in Northern Cali, and have always admired this departments vehicles!

Do you think in the future that you will be releasing more skins based one this department? (like 2015 Ford Police Interceptor Sedan LSPD 1.1?)

Thank you!

SFPD Month has rolled in for a starting point! An SFPD Pack is has been started on and it will include both real SFPD used vehicles and vehicles that look cool with the skin. What you should be expecting is at least this:

Normal vehicles pack:

1. CVPI

2. Charger (2015)

3. Taurus*

4. FPIU

5. Tahoe (2013)

6. Silverado

7. Expedition

8. Impala

9. Caprice

10. Transport van

there will be 3 other packs including the supercar SFPD pack, The Air Units SFPD Pack, And Special ops SFPD pack.

I don't own GTA 5, but once I get the game and upgrade my PC, this is going to be the first pack I download. I live in SJ, and I've been looking for this kind of pack for GTA 4, so this is really nice.

Is it just me, or is the FPIU livery not in the download. The caprice livery is in both the caprice folder and the FPIU folder.

Alright, sweet. I don't even live in California, let alone San Jose, and these textures/the livery in general (IRL+ingame) are some of my favorites. Great work!
