Realistic Holster

Realistic Holster is an immersive LSPDFR plugin designed to enhance your patrol experience by adding realistic weapon holstering mechanics. Feel like a true police officer as your firearm and taser behavior matches real-life expectations.


Features:

  • Automatic holster switching:

    • When your gun or taser is drawn, your holster switches to an empty version.

    • When the weapon is returned to the holster, it switches back to a holster with the firearm.

    • An animation when equipping a firearm.

  • Full integration with EUP Law & Order.

  • Customization: Being able to create your own presets

  • AI Holsters:

    • Nearby AI officers spawned by Ultimate Backup or Policing Redefined will have their holster components swap automatically when they draw or reholster.

    • Optional holster sounds play when nearby AI officers draw or reholster within a configurable radius.

  • Blacklisted Weapons:

    • Stop specific weapons from triggering any holster swaps, animations or sounds.

    • Useful for prop weapons or lidar guns that share a pistol hash.

    • 3 blacklist slots, configurable in the menu.

  • Preset Codes – Export & Import:

    • Save your full holster setup to a shareable PresetCode.txt file.

    • Import a preset code from another player to instantly apply their full holster setup.

  • Menu options allow:

    • Turning holster sounds on/off

    • Disabling gun or taser holster individually

    • Adding custom/addon weapons

    • Creating your own custom presets (for custom EUP)

    • Toggling AI holsters and sounds

    • Managing blacklisted weapons

    • Exporting and importing preset codes

Requirements:

  • LSPDFR (latest version)

  • EUP Law & Order

  • RageNativeUI

Installation

  1. Place in: Grand Theft Auto V/Plugins/LSPDFR (Important: Do not place it anywhere else, or it will not work.)

  2. Optional configuration:

    • Edit the .ini file only if you want to change the menu key.

Custom Holsters:

  • All standard EUP tasers and holsters are included (cop holster, leg holster, green taser, etc.).

  • For custom holsters, you need EUP models with two versions: one with the weapon/taser and one without.

  • If you don't use custom holsters, no additional setup is required.

Animations:

  • Intimidation animation is K (Can be changed within the menu)

    • The animation will not play if a weapon is equipped

    • The animation will stop if a weapon is pulled

  • Draw animation plays when equipping a firearm.

    • Works while the player is running

    • Can be toggled in the Settings menu

Addon/Custom Weapons:

  • The plugin automatically detects the weapon hash, you just need to set it in the menu.

  • Open the menu using the default F2 key.

Future Plugins (Angel Callouts):

I am working on a new callout pack called "Angel Callouts". These callouts will have:

  • Hopefully 20 callouts

  • AI Text to speech voices for suspects/callers

  • All calls have different outcomes (peds will say/do different things if you redo the call)

  • Multiple locations across the whole map

This would be a great addition as all of my belts have empty options for batons and flashlights. Also more slots than just three for custom slots. I dont know if its planned to be changed already but Im not a fan of having the correct drawable set loaded for what you are wearing, rather than identifying each correct drawable from each set and it being utilized no matter if you are wearing that set or not (i.e if you are wearing set 2 while set 1 is loaded, it will only recognize set 1).

Hey, yes I am working on a update that will allow you to add 3 extra spots for whatever is pulled out, but when you mean set 2 not recognised you need to set your presets/custom holsters via the menu.

I did set them. What I mean is if I have holster drawable 1 and 2 set up for slot 1 in realistic holster, its fine when that slot is loaded. But if I have slot 2 loaded with a holster drawable 3 and 4 for a different style belt, it will only recognize the currently loaded slot. So if I have slot 2 loaded and I try and wear the slot 1 belt, it tries to think its slot 2 despite having slot 1 configured properly. Idk if that makes sense.

You know like in CopHolster you can list every type of belt with the empty holster variations and if you are wearing that belt, it would draw the empty holster variation? That doesnt seem to be the case with Realistic Holster. You only get the correct empty holster variations for the slot currently loaded. At least thats what my experience was setting it up.

Yes the 3 custom slots. I didnt find a way to customize the presets.

What I was saying is I found two holsters I wanted to use for custom slots 1 and 2 and both had holsters and unholsters versions. If I had custom slot 2 loaded but was wearing the holster for custom slot 1, it didnt work properly. I would draw the pistol and when I re-holstered, it would put the drawable for custom slot 2 and yes I made sure the numbers were the ones I wanted for each slot. It just seemed like it only makes the drawables appear for the currently loaded slot and not evey one you have set.

With the custom holster section, there’s an option to set custom holster 1,2 and 3. When you make the custom presets you must set them.

When I unholster my gun, the entire holster for the gun disappears. When I unholster the taser, the entire belt disappears. I am using custom belts, could this be the issue? How can I fix it?

Hmm… ensure you have set the right custom holster.

You have 3 custom holster slots, make sure you equip the slot that you changed.

I've been trying to get my vest taser to work and idk if I am doing something wrong. I use Thinlinesanctuary's stuff and the vest stuff is in the parachute slot. Is there any way to change where the vest taser is coming from? it seems to only be for the undercoat slot

The vest taser slot it under Amour, I’ll work on an update to make it more custom.
