This is a fan submission. I am not associated with SoCal Thero or his vehicle packs.

EUP 3.7 or greater is unsupported

Future updates:

Soon, I will be working on updating the current configs to fix some bugs that were reported in the comments. I also wanted to add a version for Policing Redefined and add support for LSPDFR Enhanced. I will be working on adding an .oiv file for easy installation, a completely optional method. Something I'll look into is adding an LSPD livery for the tow truck (because afaik the only livery is BCSO).

Provides XML files for proper ambient spawning and backup.

It is recommended to backup files before installing:

Copy GTAV/plugins/LSPDFR/UltimateBackup , Paste somewhere safe
Copy GTAV/lspdfr/data , Paste somewhere safe

[Uninstalling]
If you backed up the folders beforehand, just replace the folders in your GTAV directory with the backed up ones.
If you did not back up your folders, find the corrosponding folders in the Ultimate Backup and LSPDFR (Manual Install) folders and replace in your GTAV directory.

This mod DOES NOT provide any vehicle files or mods. All required mods must be installed for these configs to work.

To install, drag and drop both folders into your GTAV root directory, replacing when prompted.

Features:

-   Proper backup for your current region.
-   Stations have you go on duty for their proper agency in their current region.
-   Proper ambient spawning for your current region.
-   A H.E.A.T backup & agency option for high-speed pursuits (U.B).

I would recommend raising your heap in HeapAdjuster.ini to prevent crashing.

+ Removed references to 'police5' (Replaced with 'police9')

+ Set spawn chance of 'sahp4' (SAHP Durango) to zero as vehicle's clipping is glitched. May still be selected in the garage.

+ GSPD, SSPD, and PBPD now use LSPD outfits for simpler recognition on scene.

+ Both local and county agencies (i.e. SSPD & BCSO) now patrol and spawn as local backup within their respective regions. FemaleLocalPatrol for these regions will call for a county unit.

+ Adjusted vehicles for special units. Supervisor units should spawn in SUVs/Pickups, LSPD Riot will no longer spawn outside of Los Santos.

+ Adjusted vehicles chances across agencies. Tried to remain logical.

I found no issues from playing with it for a couple days. Everything works as intended.

I was actually waiting for an XML for Thero's State for a while. Kinda excited to try it out and actually have EUP and Thero State work properly and as intended for Backup, etc.

Oh yeah, update on that test. Works beautifully! The only thing I didn't had installed was the Resource Limiter (which was a need >_>) and the fwBoxStreamerVariable and decals limit patch, but after installing those and overall beside that, The XML worked beautifully so thanks so much ❤️

It works when doing it with just the menu but when I do it with grammar police which supports ultimate backup it just says issue with backup config

I can't seem to replicate that issue.

Are you calling for backup with the Grammar Police UI or the voice commands?

Also, does this happen everywhere on the map?

Does this implement Sandy Shores, Grapeseed, and Paleto Bay as agencies?

Edit: It appears it does! I’ll give this a shot as my own configs aren’t quite polished.

i may be crazy but it seems that bcso patrols in lssd vehicles. was in paleto bay and patroling vehicles were in lssd cars

The new version adds regions.xml which I forgot to edit and add for the agencies (oops). Hopefully this fixes your issues, please let me know if it does not.

is very good but somehow my units spawn with drum mags and the heat units backup make my game crash but is from the original mods

LSPD Coat on the Locker looks a bit bugged (maybe it's something from my end, not sure?)

Also noticed that some backup units on bikes (SAHP) are not wearing helmets but hats.

Some backup units also use the Drum Magazine attachment, is that expected? 😅

Not really, I think it's probably related to the XML files and they need to be updated.

You can update the weapons your backup uses from plugins\LSPDFR\UltimateBackup and edit CustomRegions, DefaultRegions and SpecialUnits to have COMPONENT_AT_AR_FLSH (flashlight) instead of COMPONENT_ASSAULTRIFLE_CLIP_03. As for the uniforms, I didn't really check how I can edit those.
