WELCOME TO CHARGES REBORN!

The second installment of the Reality Reborn project, Charges Reborn seeks to make your charges and citations match the depths of realism that it has been lacking!

INSTALLATION:

Please be sure to install the version that matches with your game, this features charges for Compulite, Police Menu and External Police Computer. Instructions for each version are in the included readme.txt

 

FEATURES:

  • Realistic charges using California penal codes, vehicle codes and health and safety codes.
  • Lore friendly
  • Many new and unique charges along with the necessities
  • Labels for Warnings (W), Infractions (I), Enhancements (E), Misdemeanors (M) and Felonies (F)!
  • Compulite, Police Menu and External Police Computer compatible.

This charge pack is everything I've looked for. It uses real Penal Code offense names, and has enough charges to cover nearly every possible event, but at the same time isn't incredibly cumbersome with hundreds of charges to comb through. Good work!

    any plans on adding more narcotic possession charges? that's the only thing that I think is lacking. but I loved it anyways

    Well based on California law, most things are just classified as controlled substance, and its based on California Health and Safety codes for drug charges. There are no individual charges for different possessions, so unfortunately it wont be adjusted to add them due to the basis im using not having it.

    It is coming up next! Been super busy and honestly charges for PM is the hardest to make, EPC and Compulite are significantly easier to make

    The attempted murder charges in the newest update for Compulite crash lspdfr for me. Could you take a look into it. Once selected it crashes on "Submit charges"

    Hey, would love to help out, but XML edits can not cause a crash to desktop, and shouldn't cause a crash for LSPDFR. However I would love to help out where I can, id love to see a log of your crash and figure out whats happening and test for repeatability on my system. Can you please join this discord? Its Astroburgers but I am working out of his discord until mine is complete.

    It will be better if you added expired license, insurance and registration and also add for 30 days

    Those do not exist in California law and aren't how its handled IRL. Expired = none thus you would write them up for not having a license or not having insurance or registration, as since its expired it no longer exists. I have zero intent to add these in future updates.

    These are some great charges and citations. My only nitpick is that on my Compulite screen, the charges with the penal codes added are so long that they over run into the pending/outcome column.
