What does RTS Do?

Riskier Traffic Stops (RTS) Is designed to bring more variety to your basic and mundane traffic stops.

 

Current Outcomes

The current included outcomes are as follows:

  • Get Out and Shoot - The suspect(s) get out and open fire on you and other officers

  • Flee - The suspect(s) flee from the traffic stop either in their vehicle or on foot

  • Yell - The suspect gets out of their vehicle and yells at you (3 Possible Sub-Outcomes)

  • Ramming - The suspect reverses into your vehicle before fleeing from the traffic stop

  • Shoot and Flee - The suspect(s) open fire on you from their vehicle and then flee from the traffic stop

  • Spit - The suspect spits at you from their vehicle

  • Get Out RO (Random Outcome) - The suspect exits the vehicle, and reaches. They might pull a:

    • Gun

    • Knife

    • Phone

    • Each has 2-3 sub-variations

 

Configurable in-game via the F4 menu -> RtsOpenConfigMenu.

 

Requirements

Fully compatible with ImmersiveAmbientEvents and RansomAmbience!

What's New in Version 3.3.3

Released

Update 3.3.3

  • Added more safety nets for CDF
  • Fixed issues reported since last update (hopefully)

If you experience any issues with the new chancing systems, please let me know, as this is still mildly experimental, but should be entirely stable.

  • Added Dependency checks for CDF
  • Made it so RTS will wait for CDF to load before finishing loading
  • Added more null checks to hopefully resolve crashing issues

Update 3.3.1

  • Removed RandomChance Setting
  • Added new Suspect Based chancing (Now the default chancing method)
    • Ignores your set chance value and does chancing based on suspect and vehicle data (example, if the suspect is wanted there's a much higher likely hood they'll shoot at you, but if it's something like expired insurance it's more likely to be a tame outcome, such as YellInCar)
    • For more information on how Suspect data based chancing works, see the Chancing Documentation
  • Added CommonDataFramework (CDF) dependency (included in download)
  • Updated INI to have the new Risk Chancing values.

If you experience any issues with the new chancing systems, please let me know, as this is still mildly experimental, but should be entirely stable.

FOR THIS UPDATE YOU MUST UPDATE YOUR INI FILE WITH THE NEW CHANCING SECTION, FAILURE TO DO SO WILL CAUSE ISSUES.

Hey! I dunno if this is just happening with me but even if I set like the chance for it to occur to say "10", something basically still happens almost every single traffic stop. No clue if its a bug but I can't be unlucky or something, this' been happening for days. Every 3 traffic stops the suspect just comes outta the vehicle and starts going brrrr at me

does this affect the STP ini? theirs two options for

I'm confused on if I set STP to zero probability for resistance or to disable it in riskier traffic stops(ex. shooting suspects). Would that make a difference? more less,  does running both cause issues?. from what I got it would multiply the chances of a resisting suspect or something bad. So far with my experience running both didn't cause too many issues, but increasing the The probability percentage for both even just under 30% has gotten me into having resistance in every traffic stop

id like to have some more shootin but that's a little much haha, ill probably mess around with either setting and see if it makes a difference in-game.

I love this mod thank you for this, its very realistic as its exactly like those police cam videos we can see on youtube.

One more thing i would try to add is the suspect starts shooting after a while when you are talking to him while standing next to the window it happens quite a lot in the us according to those police videos, but Love your work I recommend this as a must have.

I love this, always has me on edge on a traffic stop, although now I have a bad habit of always keeping my pistol drawn as soon as I get out of the car. Just don't know when I'm about to have shots taken at me anymore, there was one night I had three stops blast me before I even was fully out of the car 🤣

I wish this would play nice with my other mods.  what usually causes the conflict with stop the ped and callout mods?

Its completely random, do you have the Automatic Traffic stop setting enabled in callout interface?

It would be really helpful if you could add to the readme or this mods page, the settings to change in stop the ped so that this mod doesn't conflict with it and if possible, the reasons this might conflict with some callout packs, so people can be aware of them and not download call out packs which cause issues with this mod.

Just a heads up, you could change the text to say like "REMOVED - Commented in Error" and then report your own post for deletion by saying its okay but needs Moderator attention. 🙂

As I say, I did leave a comment. Most people understand what this is an error, not sure why it caused confusion. Perhaps some members are less familiar with forums?
