What is Forestry Callouts?

Forestry Callouts is a callout pack that allows the player to play as a park ranger. Respond to ATV pursuits, dead animals, animal attacks, and more! Forestry Callouts was made in 2020 and released again in 2023 after I let it go for a while during university. Forestry Callouts 2.0 is fully integrated with Callout Interface and strives for realism patrolling and customization!

Licenses ~ Ask any ped for hunting or fishing licenses

Hi, I'm having crashes when trying to play with this plugin. Don't know why, just crashes LSPDFR after a minute or so. It's fine without.

Quick question about the .ini file - for the option RangerBackupModels the default is ''"PRANGER":"PRANGER":"PRANGER"".  Why is PRANGER there three times, separated by colons?  I have a vehicle installed under PRANGER2 that I'd like to add, but I'm no programmer and there's no note in the file about how to adjust this setting, so I'm baffled by the syntax.

Its so the player can use multiple vehicles for the model, you can have as many vehicles there as you want. I will provide a template for your scenario below.

I have Pranger there 3 times so people could just double click and replace the name of the model, I see how that can be confusing though. Hope this helps! Sometimes the Stolen Logger Truck Pursuit call crashes  LSPDFR  when spawning the Logger Truck or when activating it ai..i havent used this callout pack in a month but i remember it being a problem

I have an issue with this callouts, It doesn't spawn when I'm in Cassidy Trail or Paleto Forest. I have Wilderness Callouts too, I don't know if they are incompatible.

Hey there, I love this pack but for some reason when I install it and respond to a call, it crashes once I get into Cassidy Creek. Once I removed the callout pack it was fine. Any plans on updating the pack or no? Love the pack just wish I could use it.

Maybe it's an error on my side or it's just an inbuilt feature:

I have to press the interaction key for every line of dialogue. In other callout packs the whole dialogue enrolls after the first keypress.

 

If it's an error: What do you need to check on it?

If it's a feature: Why did you implement it this way? Wouldn't it be easier to start everything with just a single key?

This is a built-in feature; I made it this way because different people take more or less time to read. So you can go at your own pace. And if you don't care about the dialogue, well, then you can just press the Key a crap ton of times to get through it. However, I'll be changing this in ForestryCallouts2 whenever I get more time to get it going. The dialogue will be through a menu with different options people can select.

Hello, I have noticed a very tiny, non-game-breaking bug with this pack. When the Intoxicated Hiker callout is spawned, the RPH spits out the dispatcher skips the "kind" of call the callout is in the audio. The RPH spits out this GetAudioFileForAction: No file found for: CROME_DISTURBING_THE_PEACE_01, I can only assume its a typo. Otherwise, great work on the callouts!

can you add bolo call too in the forests maybe  add something  like attention all unit  there a  hiking person  missing   asking  for help  the call  was  disconnect last see was bla bla location .. here a example

Immersive Ambient Events already has that featured implemented in. and the missing persons callout is already implemented in other callout packs.

That would be interesting! I plan on adding some ambient events at some time and using SuperEvents API!

Yes! Only the audio is required!

Had to uninstall and this is my favorite plugin, Whenever a callout from this pack is automatically or manually activated it no longer sends me on that callout, instead it just shows a massive flashing red and blue circle on that map that stays there for the rest of the game and does not vanish as it should

 

Most forestry callouts actually do this for me so not sure whether its a conflict or not

Hey, So I actually joined your discord about 1 day ago and forgot to come back here with an update, After downloading the beta version from discord I have not been able to recreate the errors and the plugins working for me perfectly again which I'm quite pleased about, Apologies for the waste of time and thank you for the response, Given how its only me who seems to have had these issues I am nearly certain that it was another plugin causing your plugin and others to misbehave so I no longer think forestry callouts was the source of the issue, Removing all my plugins that were getting on a bit date wise seems to have helped. Forestry is working great again.

Bonjour,

I installed your plugin, which I like. On the other hand, when in game, I do forceduty I have an error message which appears which blocks my game. When I press on F4, in the Rage report, there is an error related to your callout. Visibly the others players do not encounter this problem.

 

Have you got solution for that please ?
