REALISTIC SEARCH ITEMS FOR STOP THE PED

Add more sensible and realistic items to your vehicle and ped searches.

No human skulls, hand grenades or disgusting used items in peds pockets.

Many new realistic green items, Lore friendly weapons can be found on the peds or in the vehicles.

 

NO INSTANT DRUG RECOGNITION! 

Many narcotics are broken down into type and quantity , it's up to you to determine what they are with

your narcotics test kit.

 

Catch peds trafficking weapons as well as narcotics!

 

Suspect a driver is DUI?

You'll wanna check for bar receipts to build your case.

 

A LOT OF YOUR POTENTIAL NARCOTICS ARE GONNA BE IN THE YELLOW CATEGORY AND NOT RED.

MOSTLY FIREARMS ARE IN RED. YOU MAY WANT TO GO IN YOUR STOP THE PED INI AND CHANGE UP THE PROBABILITY FOR RED, YELLOW, AND GREEN. SO YOU'RE NOT FINDING PEOPLE WITH 4 PISTOLS AND WHATNOT. ALSO I RECOMMEND KEEPING YOUR MAX ITEMS FOUND UNDER 10, BUT THAT'S UP TO PERSONAL PREFERERNCE. 

 

Installation:

Drag and drop the plugins folder to your main GTA V directory.

 

Please do not steal these files and reupload them anywhere else.

    I have custom search items installed and I haven't been able to utilize the drug test kit. Is your xml edit compatible with that STP feature?

    Yeah it should be. I tested it all out, it worked fine.  Did you check the INI file make sure the search strings are there.

    im not sure if this is the XML fix you uploaded, but i found this and it was causing my LSPDFR to crash. i fixed it myself (thanks notepad++) but i figured i oughtta let you know.

    Yeah I did find the issue and fixed the upload. Sorry about that I was editing on my laptop i should've ran it through my PC and GTA first lol 🙈🙈

    First you need this https://www.bejoijo.com/post/stop-the-ped

    After you have that installed install this file and let it overwrite files
    There you will now have different items when you search cars and peds

    Just go to your plugins/LSPDFR/stoptheped folder and drop the files in and replace the old ones, and when you search peds or cars the new results will show up.

    It turns out that I messed up my files so that when I search cars it always says "nothing of interest" or no words show up at all. Is there a way to fix that or are my file editing days done?

     Well did you open the XML files in OpenIV edit mode first of all, and click save, make sure there isnt any errors. Also your number of search items found in STP INI might be too high. I recommend no more than 10. If there's too much text to display, it won't show up at all is what I found.

    I assume this mod works in tandem with stop the ped (vehicle search and frisking) and just changes the items? I was looking for something like this because I got tired of literally every single person having either drugs or drug paraphernalia on them which just isn't realistic lel
