yeah they only use them in MVA's or Structure Fires otherwise they use engine's

im a little confused. on an mva or structure fire its still an engine. what determines its role is the equipment onboard. if it has jaws and rescue equipment its a rescue engine if its got a larger tank it could be an engine tanker. we have a ladder (QUINT) that could be used as an engine rescue engine or an ariel the manufacture itself has nothing to do with its role. i do see 4 draft hoses on it so to me looks more like it could be an ET?
