Welcome to Grammar Police!  This plugin began as a replacement for VocalDispatch but has grown into much more!

 

Speech Recognition

  • Issue commands to the dispatcher using your microphone
  • Includes a "hold to talk" feature that simulates a real radio
  • Supports StopThePed and UltimateBackup out of the box

Grammar Police 1.8

  • Restored player status display on PTT release (thanks OfficialFlipPlayz)
  • Restored the "say again" and generic response functionality
  • Restored emergency status on panic (thanks L’ère de l’a-paix)
  • Hardened radio check to prevent crash when there aren't any results
  • Adjusted timings of (non-chest) animations to look and sound more natural
  • Invalid callsigns no longer cause a failure but instead fallback to default

    Microsoft has removed the interface for Windows Speech Recognition in recent versions of Windows 11.  Starting with this version of Grammar Police you will need to install Microsoft Speech Platform and the language pack you wish to use:

Is there a way to have multiple callsigns saved so when i say any of the callsigns dispatch responds

So I have been using gramar police for at least 2 months now without any problems, never had any issues with it, got into patrol today after forceduty, i used the handheld radio to make me available for calls as I usually do, i got 3 beeps and my entire game crashed, changed my plugin timeout threshold in Rage to 60000, but the same thing happened, any reason why?RagePluginHook.log

No you can't have multiple callsigns. You can add whatever you want to the prefaces, though.

Amazing mod, however will there be a feature implemented where I can request multiple backup units? I would like it if I could request multiple units with one request instead of asking 2 or 3 times

You should consider adding vanilla LSPDFR hand on radio animation for both selecting interface menu items and vocal.

I love the script but when I raise or lower the microphone volume and click the button to speak to dispatch (for me its alt) the volume resets to 72% so dispatch can barely hear me and can't understand what I'm saying. I checked it and its not problem with gta, it resets when i click the button, not when i open gta. Anyone know how to fix that?

Is there anywhere else to download this from? Half of the files I download from here are broken or corrupt. I'd really like to use this script.

The files here are neither broken nor corrupt.

    What browser are you using? Also make sure your security software is not flagging your downloads as a danger. I have this issue before and it was my security suite or my browser or browser extensions.

    I’m using chrome. I don’t run any browser extensions. I have no security suite or anti virus software. Some of the downloads here work for me but a majority of them say corrupt  or damaged.

    Go to Google Chrome Web store and type download manager. That may work if not download firefox and try again. Also check your firewall settings in Windows Security.

    We can mark this down as fixed. I guess my Winrar app was too old (v3.62). Updated it (v6.11) and now things open.


    Now time to have some fun.

    When I talk to dispatch, there is a slight freezing in my game before the release sound is played and dispatch responds. This never used to happen for as long as I've been using Grammar Police, now it's just doing it. Any ideas? No callout packs or anything are installed yet.
