Happy Halloween!

Thank you so much for your continued support, and I hope you enjoy this year's vehicle texture pack. The skins will work on several other author's vehicle packs, but I specifically made it using TheGreatHaha's LSPD Pack 4.0. This pack uses the Arjent Light bar. I have customized the lenses and lighting textures, as well as the .vcf for each vehicle to give the option of Orange/Green lighting! You may chose not to use them if you wish 🙂 There are also a couple vehicles in the pack with window textures. I was not able to do this for each one as I only used ones that contained window templates and with a new baby in the last month, I was not able to take the time for pulling window files and making custom templates. Hope you guys enjoy these, and feel free to use them in videos and streams, all I ask is credit for the skins/lights. I also would love to hear from you on your thoughts. Lemme know when you're uploading/streaming 👍

Here is the pack for the 2010 Dodge Charger that was added in v1.1.

 Gump's 2018 Dodge Charger Pack. Lights have been modified for the Legacy vehicle.

Installation of Vehicle Texture

Install is no different than any other skin. Just place the .png file into the vehicle's .ytd Texture Library File in OpenIV.

 

Installation of Lighting Textures:

I have included texture files to change the Red -> Orange and the Blue -> Green.


1) Place the image files into the .ytd Texture Library of the correct vehicle. They have the same name as existing files, so they will replace the original colors. 


2) Place the XML file that corresponds with the vehicle you have changed the lights for, into your pack_default file as you normally would install your ELS file. This will give the correct ambient reflections of Orange(Amber) and Green.

 

For those exploring other packs, look for these file names.

2015 Tahoe (Tahoe_sign_1) 

2016 Charger (chgr_sign_1)

Disclaimer:

As always, keep in mind that modifying your game is a risk. Back up your files and take appropriate care to do it right. I am not responsible for any problems that modifying your game may cause. If you do have issues, use those backup files to restore it to the way it was before.  Please do not take credit for the creation of these skins/lighting textures.

Thanks Phatalgaming! We had an incident in my local area near the beginning of the month which involved Domestic Violence and ended with a self defense use of a firearm. Sad situation for everyone involved.

Sorry to hear that 😞 A teenager was murdered here due to domestic violence her bf shot her.

It never gets easier to hear of tragedies like this. It definitely gives everyone a reason to be aware of your surroundings, get to know other people and watch out for each other.

Mmm, here in Florida security uses amber and green lights, gonna make a security texture pack now. I love the idea of the pack, also lol.

    I have seen green and amber used for security in the past. The main intent is to give a unique color to the lights that fit with Halloween. Purple didn't really work very well, so I went with something I could replicate over an entire pack 🙂 I've considered making security skins, as I'm familiar with several intriguing designs that are security companies, but that hasn't happened yet haha.

    Haha.... good eye! The 2010 skin was created for someone who has the vehicle model, even though the model itself is no longer available for download. 

     

    That said, I'm sure there are other chargers that match "09_chgr_sign_1" If you know of chargers this will fit on, I can definitely add the skin to the pack, and mention those packs above. I'll PM you additional details.

    Hi. I am retexturing my own lights but I am confused as to how to change the light that bounces off the walls see image below...

    My experience in changing lights is only with ELS... i think it has to do with the Carcol files...

     

    If anyone else knows - feel free to help Ocean Services out 🙂

    Pink Ribbon is for Breast Cancer awareness while Purple is for Domestic Violance, but other then that cool pack

    Glad you like the pack!

     

    The ribbon used for the texture has a light purple to dark purple gradient (center to edges). I do see that it could be a pinkish tone, but it is intended to be purple 🙂

    The skin and lights have been converted for the 2010 Charger from Slendis. Check the latest version 1.1 for the update. 🙂
