[ELS] 2018 Chevy Silverado LSSD 1.0.0

Hello! Awesome model! I wanted to know if I could upload a texture for this model to LSPDFR. It is based off of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. Thanks!

Has anyone managed to fix the lights not really working? Both headlight and taillights wont shine. Also, Is the top of the lightbar black for everyone? Other than those to things the model is great!

you need to set the window tint to "no tint" using a trainer.

Pretty sure I’ve done that, plus set the tint to none via the vehicles.meta. But I’ll try again later to confirm. 

Yeah its no the tint problem. AS you can see in the pics, the tint is set to none and still the lightbar is black on top. Plus the lights still will not appear to be on even though they are emitting light

The top of the light bar is supposed to be black. Do you have ELS installed? it is an ELS vehicle.

Ok. Thank you for clarification on the light bar. I don’t understand why it’s black but that’s neither here nor there. And yes. I have the ELS file installed.

I am not sure how else to help you then, I would recommend trying a fresh install of GTA V. 

@West Coast Wookie I am having trouble finding the location i need to use to install the VFC file. Can you help me?

navigate to your GTA V main directory and drag and drop it in to your ELS pack default folder, it is the same as installing any other ELS car.

@West Coast Wookiei don't have a els pack default folder in my GTA V main directory though. Is that something i have to make myself? and if so are there any special directions i need to follow?

Its an awesome truck!!! I currently use it but the only problem im running into is the push bar lights are super dim they just appear as white... I run radiance V as well have also altered the settings to make them super bright... Any help on just getting the push bar lights alone brighter would be awesome... Im also using the Turn all Blue Els mod.... the truck is truly amazing as all blue... Any help would be appreciated as always keep up the great work!!!

Glad you like it. Unfortunately the way the emmissives were done for the dev model of the pushbar lights, makes them very dim, I noticed this myself, but was too lazy to change it. I have since stepped away from modeling, so unfortunately they will remain the way they are.

Which CarVariations.meta am I meant to edit in order to change the color of this?

I really love this truck, but my brake and taillights don't work.

running into the same issue. lights function because It illuminates the ground infront of the vehicle but lights themselves and tail lights dont function at all. any idea where in the meta's I might look to change this?

not, too sure. its been a while since I've had this car in my game, and don't recall ever having issues with the headlights or tail lights, Best I can recommend, is make sure no tint is applied, and that the meta is the vanilla meta.
