Templates has been provided if you want to create your own liveries.

Important Note: Do not use the Rockstar Editor when the Arrowboard is raised. Editing scenes when the Arrowboard is raised will crash your game!
Make sure to record with the Editor only when the Arrowboard is in its lowered or stowed position as this prevents the game from crashing when
editing with the editor.

Installation:
1. Use OpenIV and install the car mods to mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday18ng\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf
2. Drag and drop the VCF ELS XML file from the archive to Grand Theft Auto V\ELS\pack_default folder. THIS IS NECESSARY FOR THE ARROWBOARD TO WORK!
3. If the lightbar does not seem to be flashing, set the diffuse tint value to
<diffuseTint value="0x00FFFFFF" /> in whatever car slot you replaced in vehicles.meta file (You may need to do this for police4, fbi2, and sheriff2).
4. The Ford Explorer has modified properties in vehicles.meta so the car handles correctly.
See instructions in the car folders for installation.

Using the arrowboard: To raise/stow the arrowboard, press Alt + [. To activate/deactivate the arrowboard lights, press K (secondary lights).
To change the direction of the arrows, press Ctrl + P to bring up the ELS Control Panel, scroll to the next pattern by pressing "i" (or Alt + i to scroll back to the previous pattern).

If bugs are found, please report them as soon as possible!

Ok make sure the VCF XML files is stored in GTA V/ELS/pack_default folder. NOT in the same place as you install with ytf and ytd files.

If you dont have the ELS/pack_default folder in your GTA V folder, then you need to install ELS V.

How do you get the Rotators to work? They seem to just turn on and face forward for me, they don't rotate or anything. Been having this problem for other rotator vehicles as well.

These are LED FedSig Vision SL. They aren't meant to actually rotate.

Just realized the sedan is meant to replace "police3" slot not "police" as it does not flip over like a drunk person in the police3 handling line. Try renaming the sedan files from "police" to "police3" instead and the Vic from "police3" to "police".

I will also update the files that changes the sedan to be optimized for "police3" and the vic to be optimized for "police".

In the archive it may just say "police" or "sheriff" or watever the file name is for each car files. The .xml extension is hidden for some reason. Try dragging these files out and right click and hit properties. If they have .xml extensions then those are the ELS VCF files.

how do you make the Emergency lights brighter and the directional board, they are very dim

I added this as an add on vehicle, I used this https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/modding-dlc-pack-v

I'm not 100% sure about 7zip. Try using WinRar to extract the file instead if it still does not work.

You can try enhancing it with RadianceV or other visual mods. Otherwise I'll have to tweak the emissive textures (that will depend on timewise tho).

The lights are usually better at night. At day they are kind of dim.

yeah WinRAR worked but my real issue is the dim lights, can that be fixed ?
