Yeah, its because the menu just plays your desired voice from the voice files and it doesnt change your character voice at all.

i recommend you to use this plugin to bring your character voice in line with your choosen megaphone voice 😉

I do use that, but as with LSPDFR assigning voice depending on your ped, it has no effect on this.  This mod still uses the default white male police voice, hence me asking.  😊

Now, I have no idea how to change this, so if it is an easy fix or not is beyond me.  😐

By the way, just an additional sidenote, when I open the menu without slowmotion in-game, the game lags a lot, it decreases by about 10 fps.

MMmmmmh, im not sure if it is possible to sync your voice with the lspdfr character voice because the script is not written in Rage. I`ll take a look at this later 😉

Yeah, its a nativeui (menu) problem. Other mods with nativeui will decrease your fps too. if you have "Core Isolation" enabled  in Windows Defender, the fps drop will be higher than normal when the menu is opened (20-30 fps)

I noticed that other mods don't have this problem though, maybe there's a workaround to this?

I dont think so. You might mean the RAGENativeUI which works without fps drops. But the mod uses th normal nativeui. I think the only solution would be to port it to Rage 🤔

Thanks, that is all I can ask of you.  😊  The only other option I can think of is making a separate one for the ladies, but that is probably a lot of work.

I like the idea, but I can't play with this plugin... when the menu opens, the game freezes and the menu is confusing.

Well not really.  LSPDFR has a shift button and when pressed behind a wanted car you will hear the megaphone, and it's synced with your character. The only bad thing is that the speech lines only contains insults.

True, but still, it would mean making the mod twice.  And then it wouldn't even cover the other voices, since there is four for men and four for women.

I do agree on the speech lines, it is kind of like the 'Kifflom' phrase - which is why I love 'Stop the Ped' for traffic stops.  😁  But that is what there is to work with, I suppose.  🤔  We need someone to overhaul all the voices, somehow.  😅

From what you said I can imagine that you installed the plugin in the wrong place. Make sure you have installed ScripthookDotNet correctly and make a new folder called '' scripts '' and paste the mod in here. Be careful not to confuze the Plugins folder with the Scripts folder.

have it in the scripts folder. scripthookv installed properly. still no luck. it says mod loaded when i press insert. but shift+g doesnt do anything at all

You haven't mentioned about ScripthookDotNet. Make sure that everything mentioned in the instructions is installed properly. Also note that only the files downloaded need to be moved into the scripts folder, the rest of them are in the main GTA directory.

rest of what? theres only a scripts folder in the download file. are you talking about scripthook.net?

I have scripthookv in the main gta5 directory. everything is fine except this mod lol not sure why.

Nice work! But I hope that you can update the actual effect of the megaphone in future versions, which will be even better. Thanks!

ya my dude i pushed every button and it dont work it says its in but i pushed every button

and your a modder you should know to put the controls in this not put the defiled key not every one knows what the hell your talking about

Default G is key, if it doesn't work, maybe you not install script hookV. I guess. Or you need change the key, in ini.

Another useful improvement can be to attach the megaphone sound to a specific object(the car or the helicopter) not to the entire world. This can be heared when activating cinematic camera and the megaphone sound doesn't seem to go any further with it's source. A little detail wich can be essential in my opinion.

Hi, which voice set are you using in the demo video? My announcements all seem to be so much more aggressive and I guess "unprofessional" in comparison. Thanks!

Is it possible to have the female and male ped voice in the same menu or is it only that i can choose one ped voice at a time? Great mod by the way....

the voice shown in the video is from "MALE_COP_01_WHITE_FULL_02". I agree with you, some officers seem to operate very unprofessional ;D

you could define different keys for your voices. Like G to open the male megaphone menu and H to open the female megaphone menu or something like that. But you can not have different voices in the same menu
