[ELS] LSPD Vehicle Pack 1.1.0

(65 reviews)

10 Screenshots

FILE INFO:

This vehicle pack contains 10 vehicles; 6 patrol, 2 traffic enforcement and 2 unmarked cars. The following cars are included:

2011 CVPI

2013 Tahoe

2014 Charger

2015 FPIU

2016 Charger

2016 FPIS

2016 FPIS - Unmarked

2014 Charger - Unmarked

2011 CVPI - Traffic Enforcement

2016 Impala Traffic Enforcement

Patrol and Traffic Enforcement vehicles have working takedowns and alley lights.

PLEASE NOTE -  The unmarked vehicles have been separated from the main folder and are their own download due to upload size limits.

- If you do not have extra police slots setup POLICE5 and POLICE6 will not work in game. You can rename these to whatever you want. Just make sure your vehicles.meta, mainly the handling lines, are correct (so you don't have SUV handling for a sedan or something).

PREVIEW VIDEO:

(The aux coronas don't show up in the editor, so this isn't a completely accurate representation of in game lighting with included VCFs, but you get the idea).

OTHER INFO:

  • TINT BUG? Go into the vehicle.meta and find the 'diffusetint' line for the particular model (SHERIFF2, SHERIFF, POLICE, etc). Replace that value with <diffuseTint value="0x00FFFFFF" />  ... Or simply change the tint in game with a native trainer
  • If your Impala is flipping try a different handling line. I have had luck with POLICE3 and FUGITIVE
  • If you are changing the liveries YOU MUST change the textures in both the normal .ytd and the +hi.ytd ... if you just change it in one or the other the liveries will be different at different distances.
  • If you don't like something about the lighting patterns, speeds, light stages or anything related to ELS chances are you can change it! ELS is extremely customizable. Check out the ELS documentation, please don't ask me. All the info you need is in there.
  • If you notice a bug or mistake (which I most likely have made a few) please let me know, and I'll try to fix it in the next update. It could be an easy or quick fix.

Great pack...2nd pack and already a pro :)

1 question? Is there a way to  get the red and blue lens to cover the front also?

How do you add the extra police slots for POLICE5 and POLICE6?

Here are two PNG files containing the Red/Blue lens colors. lb_glass is just the front lenses added. lb_glass2 is the front/side lenses added.

I know the clear sections for the side alleys are a bit weird, but the way the texture is set up won't allow it to be smaller.

@OfficerHairline

You can just add those yourself.

Go into any VCF you want. In the section named "ACORONAS", you will options for pattern and colors. For the colors, set anything you want. For the pattern, set 1 for wigwag, or 11 for the fast strobe. Which lights you are editing are named at the beginning of the lines.

Why am I unable to change the skins of your models? Every time I change the skin it reverts back to the default skin.

I am a vertex fairy and this pack is what I am looking for, however I am hoping to persuade you to include the vertex for the unmarked dodge charger, and have it flash white instead of colored. I am also hoping to persuade you to map the FPIS headlights with Whelen vertex as it comes out of the Ford Factory with them pre-installed ( video below ). If you are able to make these changes, then I'll give this pack a higher rating.

@BradM This Vehicle pack is awesome! Thanks for putting in sooo much work; and you used my favorite lightbar :). One thing I was hoping you could take a look at is the coronas on the FPIU. The rear break light caronas seem to be a little off from the center of the light. I modified my graphics file and made my coronas a little pin prick compared to the much larger corona that's default. And so I noticed that the carona is slightly to the right of the center of the breaklight. Also, my only other small little quibble is that I was wondering if it's possible to make the tail lights a little brighter, including the blinkers? They seem pretty dim compared to the rest of the models I have. Thanks for your time!

@BradM I had one more quick question. Is it possible to get the templates for these vehicles? Some of my skins I need to adjust for these vehicles. Thanks! I specifically cannot find a template for the 2015 fpiu anywhere.

This is exactly what I came in the comment section for :D Awesome pack!

EDIT: found two tiny bugs so far:
-2014 charger's front blinkers don't work
-FPIU's wheel well texture is missing.

i always use the captain14 lspd pack for my cars since it has from police to police7

@BradM The ineredge glass covers up the lights on the unmarked vehicles so they can't be seen anymmore. This is a bug i think.

EDIT: it was just a texture mixup trying to make them all blue

@BradM brother if you could adjust/close the distance between the pushbar of the FPIS and the front bumper of the car? As of right now there is a pretty noticeable gap between the component and the vehicle and makes the pushbar look bigger and really strange, but it's not a big deal really haha I would rather have you update your own texture pack because the FPIS from Officerunderwood is the most common one for ELS and I wish your texture pack included a template for it :c as my fleet is all ELS based.  THANKS for your contributions still you're AWESOME!

What template did you use for the 15 FPIU? I have one for a 16 FPUI that kinda fits but some areas are off.  NVM i see templates in an above post.
