Dodge Charger Light Overhaul 1.1.0

(4 reviews)

4 Screenshots

Are you tired of those crappy dots pretending to be Dodge Charger taillights?

Well then, this mod is for you!

The Dodge Charger Light Overhaul does exactly what it says. This mod completely
overhauls the 2014/13/12/11 Dodge Charger lights.

FEATURES:

- Realistic headlights

- Brighter lights

- Better taillights (3 modes)

THIS MOD INCLUDES 3 CHOICES;
- Red taillights
- Light Red taillights
- Light Orange taillights

Which option did you choose:

NOTE: A lighting enhancement mod such as "RADIANCE V" is recommended, to make the
lights as bright as the screenshot lights.

What's New in Version 1.1.0

Released

- Higher resolution

- More pronounced color choices

- Working brake lights

- Included original file

- Removed Herobrine

I saw your response for the 15 chargers... does this also include the 16?

Yeah, sadly they're pretty much the same model so I can't edit the lights for it. The lights that the 15/16/17 models come with are already good though.

Seriously though, this has bugged the living hell out of me for as long as I've been using pre-'15 chargers. Thank you for this

In order to check whether this is compatible, just look in the .ytd files of the Charger model. If you have a "charger_lights2" file, it's compatible.

Captain's. Specifically the sheriff ones

Captain14's Chargers use the single color lights, the DEV model is different.

I might suggest upgrading to ELS cars, but that's your choice.

OK. Yeah, non-els is a personal preference. Nothing wrong with the cars I have and I don't see the point, really. That and the fact that I'm running out of space on my keyboard:P

ELS is greatly worth it. You have far greater control over your sirens, 3 light stages, cool flash patterns and endless customization.

If everything is fine, then DO NOT change it. I've made that mistake, now my game's fucked :P

So I think I found a bug. When I replaced the original light file with yours on bxbugs123's charger, It made the lights look great but also made the brake light disappear (or the turn signal light they are one in the same).

Download the new version. In that version, I fixed that very bug. The way the brake lights work is this: there is an off variant of the brake light texture in front of an on variant. The original lights are transparent, so the on variant is visible through the off. But, my texture was opaque, so the on wasn't visible. This time, I updated the texture to be transparent so the brake lights work. Thank you for your feedback, constructive criticism is always welcome :)

@Lieutenant Dan Which Base Model will this work for? @Thehurk or @Bxbugs123 base model? If it's for both then great. But it's just bugging me?

Bxbugs123's model. There is no point in using this for Thehurk's model, as he actually has better lights, making this obsolete.
