Tired of constantly having to reset your loadout with a trainer?

 

On Duty Loadout lets the user determine which weapons and attachments they prefer via INI, the loadout is applied every time the player goes On Duty in LSPDFR.

 

Set what you want when you download the mod, then always start playing with the right loadout without any key presses or menus!

Known bugs:

May conflict with Herocop or other plugins that give the player a flashlight causing LSPDFR To crash when the player goes on duty. Fixed by removing conflicting programs

 

Changing character appearance using the EUP Menu removes weapon attachments

(Solved by selecting uniform BEFORE calling forceDuty)

i got an issue. i set the flashlight is true in .ini file but i cannot find it when i m on duty,

can u help me? except this is perfect

Is this still being worked on? It crashes after I force duty.

@SHERIFF/EMS/FIRE, I'm using OD Loadout with the latest version of the game, latest version of RPH, latest version of Albo and Darkmyre's mods, several other LSPDFR and GTA-5 MODS, and a custom heavily modified personal DLC pack.  No problems with OD Loadout at all.  As with another gentleman before you (earlier in comments) it is likely a conflict with another mod.  Also, sometimes the logs can be confusing as to which plugin actually crashes (not suggested you misread it - just saying some people do).

 

@DANIELCHIA, the flashlight is a Melee weapon, so it shows as a secondary or tertiary weapon at the bottom of the weapon wheel (where you see the hand, you have to scroll with the mouse wheel, depending on your keybindings, to cycle to the flashlight).

 

Hope that is what you meant.  Sorry if I misunderstood.

 

@TdePadua, as others have requested, any chance you can add the fire extinguisher (or maybe add a framework so that we can add whatever we want by it's in game code name)?  I am actually able to put out fires quite frequently to stop car explosions, so it's very helpful (and realistic to have in the squad car).  Would be appreciated.  For now, I just spawn it in with a trainer as needed, but that breaks the immersion.

Assuming I am understanding you correctly this time, you mean they aren't on your weapon wheel at all, correct?  If that is true and it is correct in the INI, then for the flashlight it usually means you have a mod conflicting with it (author gives one example in the mod description, but I've seen others as well).  You just have to find the mod that is conflicting.  That's about all I have had experience with myself.

 

One thing I just thought of - some mods will crash if the settings file is not formatted correctly.  Could be something as simple as a misspelling or bracket missing.  For other mods, the mod works fine, but that one item does not work.  Since I don't know how the author is parsing the INI file, you may just want to double check everything in your custom INI file as compared to the original to see if there might be any errors.  Just taking a shot in the dark here, but thought it was worth mentioning.

I found a fix to your issue go into the .ini file and fine the flashlight and disable it and that should fix your problem fixed it for me. @TdePadua

This no longer crashes for me, Idk what was the fixed but its working normally now. I also have the flashlight still in loadout. Thanks anyways!

he would have to create an extra setting for every attachment for the weapons you can chose from.

It would be great if you could update this so we can choose anything we like.  I, for instance, would love to have BZ Gas on duty.  Surely it would be simpler for you to just add options for all the weapons and be done with it rather than have to update it every time someone has a request?

 

Or perhaps a better idea:  Change the mod (or add a different version) that lets you enter a list of weapon names and just gives you whatever is in the list.  So you have to know the GTA name of the weapon, but then you could have whatever you like.

First of all, I'm appreciating your work, I use On Duty Loadout since you got it out.
I wanted to tell you a bug of version 4.0 (for sure it's a bug, please check it):
In the section [Long rifles] when you put in true only some rifles come out and others do not, if you put to true all, then yes they all come out in the game. So for example if you only put true in Carbine Rifle, it does not do anything.

I know this doesn't really belong here, but does anyone know how I can get the glock shown in the picture? Because imo there is not really a police related pistol in the game and the glock would be awesome :)

Any chance of adding mkII ammo as well? such as armor piercing, incendary, etc? Muzzle, Magazines, Scopes? All the other attachments that could be added? That'd be phenominal.

Currently, there is no method of changing the ammo type for the MKII weapons. Additional attachments may be added in the future.

Is it at all possible to make it so that while on duty, you can "top-up" your ammo, like on your pistol so that you dont have to restart LSPDFR etc??

Hi there! 🙂

Had this mod for a month or so now

Worked very well each time, now recently it doesn't load my weapons,

because the game is for some reason reverting to the default LSPDFR weapons.

How can I fix this?

It isnt working for me. I installed it correctly and changed the carbine mk2 to true and when i go on duty i still only have the pistol.

I have everything installed but as soon as i ForceDuty, the MK2 Carbine RIfle just disappear after a few sec then it loads back my normal Carbine Rifle. Help
I have StopThePed btw, thought that info could help out
