Snohomish County Sheriff's Inspired Vehicle Mega-Pack [ELS] 4.0.0

(28 reviews)

18 Screenshots

Hi there!

I've been wanting to make a pack for a long time, and with ELS now released this is possible!

Here are some models based on Snohomish County Sheriff, WA.  This pack currently includes a 2011 CVPI, 2013 FPIU, 2015 Tahoe, and a 2016 FPIU. Complete with 4K skins by Slendis

These are meant to have accurate lighting set up, please do not review based on your opinions, but based on the quality of the models. I encourage your feedback!

READ BEFORE REVIEW/DOWNLOAD

There are some bugs as with any models (Keep in mind, most of these will be fixed eventually when I get time.)

  • glass doesn't break

A few special thank you's:

@Slendis All skins and suggestions

@iansonwheels suggestions, misc. textures which vastly increased the quality of the pack

@Him1250 Conversions, teachings

THIS INCLUDES ELS VCF FILES FOR A REASON. INSTALL THEM!

DO NOT LEAVE A REVIEW BASED ON INSTALLATION PROBLEMS. THIS IS AGAINST COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

Thanks for downloading! :D

@OfficerArchie Thanks for the feedback man! I will be looking into how to make the glass break extensively and hopefully update it soon.

(edited)

1. This meta can go anywhere or..?

2. From a distance the lightbar on the CVPI looks like it's floating

Nice work overall.

The meta goes in \mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5

And I was unable to fix the LODs on the CV because it kept crashing my game :D

Thanks!

So I know this is the thing now but I replaced the .meta file and my light bar still has the tint on it. I'm not really sure what more I can do or if I'm just an idiot.

What slot/vehicle still has a tint?

Great pack, just have one complaint. On the Tahoe in the second lighting stage, for me the left side of the lightbar starts flashing but the right does not. I don't know if this is a glitch or supposed to be this way, but it just looks odd having one side of the lightbar flashing and the other not.

It's just the vcf file. If you scroll through the components you can pic what extras you want on during the second lighting stage.

Do you know what I would have to change to make both sides of the lightbar light up equally? Sorry, very new at this whole ELS thing.

That's quite alright! We're all new. If you go into components look for which one lights up which side (Should be like 1 and 3  or 2 and 4) then you can go into the xml and down to the Primaries, and select which extras you want active at lighting stage 2.

I've tried editing the section and I cannot seem to figure it out. It was already set at 2 and 4 so I tried 1 and 3 and that didn't work and then I just tried other numbers but I cannot seem to figure out how to get the right side to light up. Is this section the correct section?

So trying to remove the tint from shrieff2 ; in the meta file using OPENIV, how the heck do you edit it? I have edit mode on, and the meta part opens in a new window and i cannot edit any of the lines.
