If you don't like the emssisive textures i've used, i've included different ones that use the "standard" ones. 

 

INSTILLATION INSTRUCTIONS
================================
-To install the vehicle models themselves, simply place them in your latest patch day in your mods folder.
I have installed the vehicles in my game to patchday10 where i have found the most success in them working.

 

-To install the vehicles meta file, navigate to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5
Or the spot you put your metas in. Simply copy over this line over the existing police3 line.

 

-To install the VCF file, navigate to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\ELS\pack_default
and place it in there.

 

-If you wish to install this vehicle to another slot, simply change the name of the vehicle, and change in the vehicle meta,
the handling line the slot uses to police3. 

 

PACK NOTES
=================================

- I have included separate emissive textures. Some people may not like the ones I have on so its simple to install.

 

- These vehicles are quite large in file size, so I apologize if they are very hard on your computer!

 

- This is similar to the previous vehicle I have released, but I have redone the vehicle to work with ELS.

 

- The interiors have been updated heavily, so that they reflect the real life counterparts, also featuring better looking textures.1

 

- To get the vehicle to look pretty, I recommend using the VCF that I have inculuded with the file. 

 

- If there are any questions I haven't put below, please feel free to post in the comments section! 

 

- If a few bugs with the models, which if you find, feel free to post in the comment section and ill try my best to fix them!


COMMON QUESTIONS

Q: Why aren't my lights bright?
A: You do not have light-enhancing mods installed. Download RadianceV and/or, Install my emissive bits into your visual settings,
or other mods that increase emergency lighting brightness.

 

Q: Will you please help me ins--
A: Did you read the readme? No? The installation is simple.

 

Q: I don't have Patchday10/anything else?
A: Then put the car in your latest patch day, or copy patchday10/anything else over.
 
Q: Why does my game crash after I install the car/meta/carcol?
A: I don't know, it works in my game. Make sure you have no spaces when you copied the line. 

 

Q: Will you send me ______?
A: No.

 

Q: Can I make skins for this vehicle?
A: By all means, go ahead, just dont re-upload the vehicle model itself.

 

Q: Does this vehicle use the same template as your other Utility/Other utilities.
A: Yes it does!

-Added brand new Base model to both slicktop and marked units.

somehow the left backdoor handle is not mapped like the other 3 door handles. kinda odd. now I got 3 black and one white handle.

I know that the screens do not show the ALPR but all texture shots I have seen so far who claim to be based of this vehicle do have them ....... I did also try it with the trainer but nothing there either.

So I have installed everything except the meta, I dont understand how to replace the lines. PLEASE HELP!!!

i'm having an issue here with changing the texture on this vehicle. I deleted the old ones off it (the sign_1, etc.) went to go change the texture and changed the name of the current texture to "exp_sign_1" which is what the old one had. Now when I click on the .yft file on OpenIV to view the model with the new texture, the texture doesn't appear. It's just all white. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Please help, thank you.

Hey, I’m not sure if you still have access to this file, but are the windows meant to be breakable? Because mine are not. I’ve moved it into my Sheriff2 slot.

Im using this vehicle in multiple slots but found that skins dont work correctly in the other slots. Simply changing the handling ID for the other slots didnt work either. So I used the vehicles meta you provided and just changed the names to the vehicle slot I was using it for. so its the same meta just with the model names changed to sheriff including the driver and the handling ID is kept as the gersley.  everything works great including the skins. I havnt had any issue yet but I was wondering if I should keep the <firstpersondrivebydata> the same as your meta or keep the model names that are there for the sheriff2?

Why is the front windshield A pillar not white like the rest of the body? is it on purpose? Other than that, it's perfect 9.5/10

This is the handling line I use for all of my FPIU's and Tahoe's. Seems to work ok. I think baller2 is an option that others use, if you don't want to alter the handling metas.

First of all it is the most perfect explorer i've seen on lspdfr. Absolutely amazing, flawless!!!!

one thing, on the driver side door, there seem to be a light there lighting up the door when the headlights are on. Was that a thing for the car or some bug? 

it became very obvious when i was using a RCMP skin.

I think I installed it correctly but vehicle models have solid grey windows random patterns on them and on the actual car, would appreciate someone going over the installation because i had to reinstall twice trying to install this car. I was following the installation guide as close as i could, and still the same error.

OK, Is it just me that this car doesn't have working backseat? I can open the backseat doors with trainer but i cannot with 'E' key also I cannot put my suspects in the backseat.

It's just this model, I can open backseat doors of any car except this one

I really love this mod and the only 2 problems i have is that the rear left door handle no matter what i do is always body colored and not like the other 3 and i also cant open the rear doors with the d pad on my controller even when i used the police menu to open the doors i cant put them in the vehicle. does anyone have this issue aswell and knows how to fix it because  im clueless.

the meta file saves as a text document rather than a meta file am I doing something wrong? I read the read me.txt and installed everything correctly but the car doesn't show up in game. anybody have the same problem or know how to fix this?image.thumb.png.6b972c87953bcd612ae8ef2364570c21.png
