Emergency Lighting System V brings one of the most popular modifications ever created for a GTA title (ELS-IV) to Grand Theft Auto V. ELS-V will add a whole new dimension to your patrols. With a fresh look and many more features than its predecessor, it's also sure to brighten up your game and satisfy the emergency lighting enthusiast in anyone.

DESCRIPTION
− ELS provides an alternate and incredibly in-depth way of controlling emergency vehicle lights and sounds.
− ELS requires vehicle models specifically designed to make use of its features.
− ELS includes over 200 unique lighting patterns scattered across 4 light groups and lighting formats.

NOTES
− Please consult the ELS USER GUIDE and other provided documentation prior to using ELS.

− As of V1.00 ELS is not compatible with any form of multiplayer.
− A visual enhancement mod is recommended to improve the appearance of ELS lights in game.

BASIC INSTALLATION
− A GTAV ScriptHook must be installed for any .asi modification to work. The original may be found HERE.
− Using script modifications in GTA Online can result in a temporary or permanent ban from the service.
− 1. Place ELS.asi, ELS.ini, the ELS folder, and AdvancedHookV.dll inside your main GTA V game directory.
− 2. Download and install (a) pro-ELS vehicle model(s).
− 3. Start your game.

CREDITS
− ELS is coded by Lt.Caine.

− AdvancedHookV and vehicle damage feature coded by LMS.
− ELS-V testing team (alphabetical order): Albo1125, BxBugs123, GravelRoadCop, PoliceWag, and Prophet.

What's New in Version 1.05

Released June 28, 20241 yr

Removed auto deletion of discarded ELS vehicles to prevent crashes when using certain LSPDFR plugins.
Removed ELS manipulation of AI vehicles as persistent/not persistent for same reason.
Removed strobe corona flash sounds (while retaining sound effects for halogen patterns).
Toggling the ELS information panel will now reload everything in the ELS.ini.
Fixed error in ELS User Guide that incorrectly associated SCNL with extra_11 and TKDL with extra_12 (the opposite is true).
Updated ELS User Guide to reflect new changes.
ELS.ini change: Added "AllowController" option to CONTROL section to allow enabling/disabling controller input for ELS.
ELS.ini change: Added "TogKeysLock" option to CONTROL section to allow changing ELS key lock button.

Please download the AdvancedHookV fix if you are using game build 3258.

not working! it says warning els key lock active

Either use CTRL+Scroll lock or turn on the on-screen keyboard and do the same. When the scroll lock is on, you'll get that warning.

This might get lost in the comments or never seen, but I am also having issues. ELS for me only works for one car ATM, and it's not working for any other vehicle I spawn. I've used ELS for quite some time now and I've never had this issue, usually when I install it, it will work off the bat.

I have a problem with this mod,I installed everything correctly but the flashing lights work dimly when very close to the car and if you move away they work normally, what is the problem?

Does It function on GTA 5 cracked?

There are differents pacthes in gta 5 like gta 4 (1.0.4.0 - 1.0.5.0 - 1.0.6.0 - 1.0.7.0 - 1.0.8.0)?

Beacuse I have a GTA 5 cracked and I've installed the LCPDFR mod...than I've installed the ELS mod (putting the files ELS.ini, ELS.asi, AdvancedHookV.dll and the ELS to Grand Theft Auto V game folder) but it doesn't work on game (i press CTRL + P but game go to pause and els don't active).

What can I do?

im not sure if this question was answered by anyone but if it was please understand i cant read all 74 pages full of questions and answers and concerns

so say i wanna change the speed of a lighting pattern for an individual car like police 3 (FS Valor Patterns) but i wanna keep the lighting speed of the other vehicles at default

is there a way to do this on the XML files? or is it one speed for all ELS Vehicles

Love ELS so much and refuse to play without it. I just wish Cain would come back and fix this stupid issue of ELS lights randomly breaking and requiring you to restart your computer. It just doesn't make any sense why that's a thing.

hey hoping anyone can help me, I downloaded LMS and put the .xml in GTAV-ELS-Pack_Default. I have all the names correctly for the veacheles installed, and they are all ELS. The light's on all the addon cars gives me the option when I load in to select the lights on, not flashing, just stationary. I can't figure out how to get it to work. I really just don't know how to get it to work. Please Help!!

It changes all the text to CAPS and removes options like "F9" "F10" "F11" "F12" and ect..

It did work fine, after a while it just doesn't work.. can anybody help please?!

BTW I installed it right, got ScripthookV and all the other files.

In the log is just like: ELS failed to load...

IDK if its ELS related or a car mod related, but when I start a shift in a police station, the textures start flashing and bugging.

Any fix for that?

This happen when I installed the ELS Mod.

It would be pretty cool if ELS turns of the Sirens when AI is driving slower than 5 MPH.

This makes the Game more immersive.

Seccond thing:

API feature for ELS enabled Cars "AIIsDrivingSirenisON".

This happen when I installed the ELS Mod.

This also happens to me on my laptop but not my desktop. Versions are the same but different setups. Not sure why it happens either?

Random question.

Right now I use vehicles that are NON-ELS but would like to get ELS and vehicles for it. Would downloading ELS and ELS vehicles negatively affect my NON-ELS vehicles I already have or screw up my game in any way? Thanks in advance!
