Emergency Lighting System V brings one of the most popular modifications ever created for a GTA title (ELS-IV) to Grand Theft Auto V. ELS-V will add a whole new dimension to your patrols. With a fresh look and many more features than its predecessor, it's also sure to brighten up your game and satisfy the emergency lighting enthusiast in anyone.

DESCRIPTION
− ELS provides an alternate and incredibly in-depth way of controlling emergency vehicle lights and sounds.
− ELS requires vehicle models specifically designed to make use of its features.
− ELS includes over 200 unique lighting patterns scattered across 4 light groups and lighting formats.

NOTES
− Please consult the ELS USER GUIDE and other provided documentation prior to using ELS.

− As of V1.00 ELS is not compatible with any form of multiplayer.
− A visual enhancement mod is recommended to improve the appearance of ELS lights in game.

BASIC INSTALLATION
− A GTAV ScriptHook must be installed for any .asi modification to work. The original may be found HERE.
− Using script modifications in GTA Online can result in a temporary or permanent ban from the service.
− 1. Place ELS.asi, ELS.ini, the ELS folder, and AdvancedHookV.dll inside your main GTA V game directory.
− 2. Download and install (a) pro-ELS vehicle model(s).
− 3. Start your game.

CREDITS
− ELS is coded by Lt.Caine.

− AdvancedHookV and vehicle damage feature coded by LMS.
− ELS-V testing team (alphabetical order): Albo1125, BxBugs123, GravelRoadCop, PoliceWag, and Prophet.

What's New in Version 1.05

Released June 28, 20241 yr

Removed auto deletion of discarded ELS vehicles to prevent crashes when using certain LSPDFR plugins.
Removed ELS manipulation of AI vehicles as persistent/not persistent for same reason.
Removed strobe corona flash sounds (while retaining sound effects for halogen patterns).
Toggling the ELS information panel will now reload everything in the ELS.ini.
Fixed error in ELS User Guide that incorrectly associated SCNL with extra_11 and TKDL with extra_12 (the opposite is true).
Updated ELS User Guide to reflect new changes.
ELS.ini change: Added "AllowController" option to CONTROL section to allow enabling/disabling controller input for ELS.
ELS.ini change: Added "TogKeysLock" option to CONTROL section to allow changing ELS key lock button.

Please download the AdvancedHookV fix if you are using game build 3258.

yeah same here els was fine I left had lunch came back and all I can get is one steady burn and taillights flashing

How do I make it so vehicles don't disappear? When I have to get out on foot to chase a suspect, I return to where the pursuit stopped the only vehicle that is still there is mine.

HI, I have the problem that ELS does not work. If I press Ctrl + P not even the console appears. With an ELS vehicle without the console no lamp lights up on the vehicle. Have already deleted ELS and reloaded without success. Anyone else the problem? Thanks Tobias

HI,

script hook is installed, but if I had die Native Trainer lspdfr crashed in Game.

ASI Manager ist installed, i checked it in openiv.

From what I have heard Lt.Caine has moved on to carcols and is no longer actively developing ELS so I would not expect an update any time soon.

Then the whole ELS vehicles will not work anymore ?? Or is there an alternative? Then all ELS vehicle models would be useless from the time.

??? ELS works fine here. I have about 12 downloaded ELS police vehicles and they all work great.

HI, no, ELS does not work from one day to the next. Have already completely downloaded ELS and copied order. Not even the panel appears anymore.

Perhaps you should start from a clean install of GTAV (I have 3 separate installs, CleanOnline, Modded, and LSPDFR) and just add ELS and test 1 ELS vehicle, then add mods 1 at a time testing as you go. That's what I do when things get messed up and I need to find the culprit.

Hello. I found problem: When the pursuit is in the car and change siren press 2,3 the car is bug and goes straight ahead. Any solutuion?

Just an opinion and I am not a mod creator by any means, but someone should pick it up from him, if he allows so and update it.

Whn i try to press the "Panic Button (G)" I wont work. And other lightning like "Alley lights" and takedons and so on. How do I fix this problem? :)

Hi, some vehicles don't support certain lighting features, such as arrow board or alley lights. As for the panic button, when outside your vehicle. Hold G at the drivers side door to activate the siren/de-activate it.

well jumped on here to hit the forum which ill probly still do and see if theres anything in there but i dont see any solutions on this page seems alot of ppl have had els just DIE all i get is tail light flashers when i open the console the lighting pattern in the middle isnt even working i can switch light modes and i can "change" the pattern but the lighting mode in the center of the console is dead and theres 0 emergency lighting!!

Did the put the vehicles .XML file that was included with the vehicle download into the "GTA V>ELS > Pack_Default" folder? This tells ELS that it is an ELS vehicle and to use the script to control it's extra's. Without it, only the taillights flash.

yea xml files are in i didnt change anything pertaining to the els script, it worked i hadnt played in a couple of weeks i jumped into the game and els was dead i tried one vehicle after the next and all the vehicles i tried had the same result, i replaced the fpiu from gump since he updated that pack to make the front lights work and updated some lspdfr callouts and scripts

UPDATE!!!!!!!! I NOTICED MY COMPUTER WASNT RUNNING VERY GOOD AND REMEMBERED THE DOG HAD HIT THE SLEEP BUTTON ON ME A COUPLE TIMES ON THE WIRELESS KEYBOARD WHICH MAKES IT ACT GOOFY SO I REBOOTED AND EVERYTHING IS WORKING PROPERLY AGAIN WITH ELS COMPUTER A BIT SLUGGISH SO ILL GO THRU IT AND CLEAR SOME JUNK BUT THOSE HAVING ISSUES MAY TRY A SIMPLE REBOOT AND SEE IF THAT FIXES THE ISSUE
