Emergency Lighting System V brings one of the most popular modifications ever created for a GTA title (ELS-IV) to Grand Theft Auto V. ELS-V will add a whole new dimension to  your patrols. With a fresh look and many more features than its predecessor, it's also sure to brighten up your game and satisfy the emergency lighting enthusiast in anyone.

 

DESCRIPTION
− ELS provides an alternate and incredibly in-depth way of controlling emergency vehicle lights and sounds.
− ELS requires vehicle models specifically designed to make use of its features.
− ELS includes over 200 unique lighting patterns scattered across 4 light groups and lighting formats.

 

NOTES
− Please consult the ELS USER GUIDE and other provided documentation prior to using ELS.

− As of V1.00 ELS is not compatible with any form of multiplayer.
− A visual enhancement mod is recommended to improve the appearance of ELS lights in game.

 

BASIC INSTALLATION
− A GTAV ScriptHook must be installed for any .asi modification to work. The original may be found HERE.
− Using script modifications in GTA Online can result in a temporary or permanent ban from the service.
− 1. Place ELS.asi, ELS.ini, the ELS folder, and  AdvancedHookV.dll inside your main GTA V game directory.
− 2. Download and install (a) pro-ELS vehicle model(s).
− 3. Start your game.

 

CREDITS
− ELS is coded by Lt.Caine.

− AdvancedHookV and vehicle damage feature coded by LMS.
− ELS-V testing team (alphabetical order): Albo1125, BxBugs123, GravelRoadCop, PoliceWag, and Prophet.

What's New in Version 1.05

Released

  • Removed auto deletion of discarded ELS vehicles to prevent crashes when using certain LSPDFR plugins.
  • Removed ELS manipulation of AI vehicles as persistent/not persistent for same reason.
  • Removed strobe corona flash sounds (while retaining sound effects for halogen patterns).
  • Toggling the ELS information panel will now reload everything in the ELS.ini.
  • Fixed error in ELS User Guide that incorrectly associated SCNL with extra_11 and TKDL with extra_12 (the opposite is true).
  • Updated ELS User Guide to reflect new changes.
  • ELS.ini change: Added "AllowController" option to CONTROL section to allow enabling/disabling controller input for ELS.
  • ELS.ini change: Added "TogKeysLock" option to CONTROL section to allow changing ELS key lock button.

 

Please download the AdvancedHookV fix if you are using game build 3258.

Yeah, I had the same thing happen. I hadn't changed anything either.  Just all of a sudden, they don't come anymore.

Are their ELS alternatives? I will check my RadianceV plugin. Maybe something happened there.

i found a fix. 

 

Start OpenIV, then go to "tools">"ASI Manager". Unistall "ASI Loader" and "OpenIV.ASI" and install them again. Reboot your Computer and start the Game

I fixed it. it was probably a meta file of a vehicle that mess everything up... every lights was not working (even the non - els)

i recreated the update folder in "mods" and it worked

does ELS install any kind of indicator mod?
 

for some reason my indicator turns on when I press "K" or "L"

 

I didn't install any other blinker mod

In your trainer there should be a way to disable keybinds disable that on your trainer and it will stop it has nothing to do with els.

No it shows the original file, but when you click on the download it takes you to Crosire's external site, it was updated 17 days ago (that is the direct link I provided).

Is there anyway to get the radio stations to work with ELS?

All my ELS lights are extremely dim and look terrible. Checked my graphics settings and all are maxed. Also installed the script hook V update above but that didnt help. Any suggestions?

Hi,
I am having a problem with the 'Extra Overrides' I'm using the default POLICE vehicle with the sample file given, I am editing this file and having fun.
But the EOVERRIDE doesn't seem to work. When I try to comment it the game can't start, but when I turn all the light colors to AMBER, nothing changes.
I can't seem to see them in the game!
How am I supposed to use them?

try to use radiance type it into the search bar on this site and download it. if you dont know ho to install it type into google how to install radiance v.

I have downloaded ELS and then installed some ELS vehicles. However when i go to game only the wig wags and tail lights work. But the lights work for AI. I have tried all the suggested fixes i could find on internet. I have restarted the computer numerous times. Uninstalled and re-installed. I am at wits end trying to get ELS to work. Is ELS suppose to load as a plugin when u first go on duty? Im willing to teamview to try and get this fixed. Please help...

How does everyone have their controls setup? I like this mod but it seems to use way to many keys and buttons than necessary. By that I mean it interferes with other plugins like say police radio, I disabled police radio to use ELS on the controller but then using keyboard for it also sets ELS off aswell. So the only other option is disable ELS on controller and use keyboard for it which is a pain. Why does it require so many keys to turn some lights on and sound a siren? has anyone set it up to not interfere with everything?

Is there a Support Section for this mod?
Couse I wanted to know if it's posible to make Bots (Vehicles) To move out of the way with a Siren tone on, like pressing T.

I can help you in this section. They will move out of the way, but you will have to be decently close to the vehicle you are trying to move.

I mean when I'm not in stage 3 of sirens. I just tried just by pressing T, nothing ;)

Hi I am new to modding and PC gaming... But I have wanted this ever since I watched LCPDFR on GTAIV... How ever I never had the money or time... But now I have a gaming computer now and a little more time... So I got GTAV and LSPDFR and have followed the mod instructions fully and have a ''PRO-ELS'' car pack yet I cant seem to get anything more then the tail lights to flash... If any one would be will to let me know were I went wrong or have the time to help me out?... It would be much appreciated

if you updated your game, you need to wait for a scripthook update or revert to backup
