Emergency Lighting System V brings one of the most popular modifications ever created for a GTA title (ELS-IV) to Grand Theft Auto V. ELS-V will add a whole new dimension to  your patrols. With a fresh look and many more features than its predecessor, it's also sure to brighten up your game and satisfy the emergency lighting enthusiast in anyone.

 

DESCRIPTION
− ELS provides an alternate and incredibly in-depth way of controlling emergency vehicle lights and sounds.
− ELS requires vehicle models specifically designed to make use of its features.
− ELS includes over 200 unique lighting patterns scattered across 4 light groups and lighting formats.

 

NOTES
− Please consult the ELS USER GUIDE and other provided documentation prior to using ELS.

− As of V1.00 ELS is not compatible with any form of multiplayer.
− A visual enhancement mod is recommended to improve the appearance of ELS lights in game.

 

BASIC INSTALLATION
− A GTAV ScriptHook must be installed for any .asi modification to work. The original may be found HERE.
− Using script modifications in GTA Online can result in a temporary or permanent ban from the service.
− 1. Place ELS.asi, ELS.ini, the ELS folder, and  AdvancedHookV.dll inside your main GTA V game directory.
− 2. Download and install (a) pro-ELS vehicle model(s).
− 3. Start your game.

 

CREDITS
− ELS is coded by Lt.Caine.

− AdvancedHookV and vehicle damage feature coded by LMS.
− ELS-V testing team (alphabetical order): Albo1125, BxBugs123, GravelRoadCop, PoliceWag, and Prophet.

What's New in Version 1.05

Released

  • Removed auto deletion of discarded ELS vehicles to prevent crashes when using certain LSPDFR plugins.
  • Removed ELS manipulation of AI vehicles as persistent/not persistent for same reason.
  • Removed strobe corona flash sounds (while retaining sound effects for halogen patterns).
  • Toggling the ELS information panel will now reload everything in the ELS.ini.
  • Fixed error in ELS User Guide that incorrectly associated SCNL with extra_11 and TKDL with extra_12 (the opposite is true).
  • Updated ELS User Guide to reflect new changes.
  • ELS.ini change: Added "AllowController" option to CONTROL section to allow enabling/disabling controller input for ELS.
  • ELS.ini change: Added "TogKeysLock" option to CONTROL section to allow changing ELS key lock button.

 

Please download the AdvancedHookV fix if you are using game build 3258.

You really dont need to, I am using the older version of gta v and rageplugin, But the els works. Maybe you need to take out yur mod folder and install it again with only bxbuggs cvpi  that works with els. Most time the issue is from the mod folder not yur game.

But if the mod folder would be the problem, at least the els window should show up? Because it doesnt show up... any way im already installing the game again so wish me luck...

    I have the same problem as you and i reinstalled my gta too but it didnt changed anythink

    Something is faulty with your police.xml. Try reinstalling it/making sure it is in the correct location.

    Seems like you have everything properly done. Just making sure: do you have the model in the police slot?

    Is it normal that when you get to choose the police car in the garage that there are several options to set on off that turn the lights on or off or could that be the prob?

    It is normal because ELS runs off of extras. Does ctrl+P bring up the menu? Also do you have the police.xml in pack_default? I know I was having that problem before placing the xml in the right folder.

    for me it brings up the menu when pressing CTRL+P

    1. when i press j nothing happens

    2. When i press ctrl p nothing happens

    3. When i use the gta v default siren key only the siren is working but the lights are not working...

    4. the installation is running so i cant tell u if the xml file is the right one...

    Huh. Very strange. Unfortunately I didn't develop the mod, hopefully someone slightly more helpful can get in here.

    Do you have the actual ELS capable car installed? The ui will only come up if it is working.

    i do have a ELS Car installed and UI comes up but the lights are not working...

    Is anyone actually able to make a traffic stop with ELS? The cars either don't stop at all, or hit the accelerator and fly off.

    Does anyone know how to access the wig wag lights option on the control panel. I've tried everything to light up the WW button on panel but nothing works. 

     

    Any help is appreciated.

    Couple things I've noticed. Wondering if anyone has a suggestion.

     

    1) Love the mod, so cool. Thanks for the hard work!

    2) Is there a way to have the ability to pull over people with only WRNL or SECL on? Right now I have to have all three light stages to pull over.

    3) If I have to have all three light stages on, is there a way to get PRML, SECL and WRNL all to come on with just one tap of my LSTG button?

    4) Siren will only activate when all three stages of LSTG button are on.

    Guys, 

     

    I am currently am unable to get ELS to work. I have deleted and reinstalled it several times however since updating Albo's Mods ELS has now stopped working. I am able to hear sirens when using siren mastery but no lights. I am unable to bring up the control panel. I have tried everything i can think off however i am simply now lost and unsure what to do. The install is fresh today and i reloaded Script Hook to be sure. I have placed ELS into my main GTA folder but still nothing...seemingly something appears not to be working....I am disappointed that I am unable to locate the issue and any support would be greatly appreciated. I know there is no issues with The plugins as they are all working fine...Something is clearly clashing and not allowing the ELS to function...
