Emergency Lighting System V brings one of the most popular modifications ever created for a GTA title (ELS-IV) to Grand Theft Auto V. ELS-V will add a whole new dimension to your patrols. With a fresh look and many more features than its predecessor, it's also sure to brighten up your game and satisfy the emergency lighting enthusiast in anyone.

DESCRIPTION
− ELS provides an alternate and incredibly in-depth way of controlling emergency vehicle lights and sounds.
− ELS requires vehicle models specifically designed to make use of its features.
− ELS includes over 200 unique lighting patterns scattered across 4 light groups and lighting formats.

NOTES
− Please consult the ELS USER GUIDE and other provided documentation prior to using ELS.

− As of V1.00 ELS is not compatible with any form of multiplayer.
− A visual enhancement mod is recommended to improve the appearance of ELS lights in game.

BASIC INSTALLATION
− A GTAV ScriptHook must be installed for any .asi modification to work. The original may be found HERE.
− Using script modifications in GTA Online can result in a temporary or permanent ban from the service.
− 1. Place ELS.asi, ELS.ini, the ELS folder, and AdvancedHookV.dll inside your main GTA V game directory.
− 2. Download and install (a) pro-ELS vehicle model(s).
− 3. Start your game.

CREDITS
− ELS is coded by Lt.Caine.

− AdvancedHookV and vehicle damage feature coded by LMS.
− ELS-V testing team (alphabetical order): Albo1125, BxBugs123, GravelRoadCop, PoliceWag, and Prophet.

What's New in Version 1.05

Released June 28, 20241 yr

Removed auto deletion of discarded ELS vehicles to prevent crashes when using certain LSPDFR plugins.
Removed ELS manipulation of AI vehicles as persistent/not persistent for same reason.
Removed strobe corona flash sounds (while retaining sound effects for halogen patterns).
Toggling the ELS information panel will now reload everything in the ELS.ini.
Fixed error in ELS User Guide that incorrectly associated SCNL with extra_11 and TKDL with extra_12 (the opposite is true).
Updated ELS User Guide to reflect new changes.
ELS.ini change: Added "AllowController" option to CONTROL section to allow enabling/disabling controller input for ELS.
ELS.ini change: Added "TogKeysLock" option to CONTROL section to allow changing ELS key lock button.

Please download the AdvancedHookV fix if you are using game build 3258.

How do I get rid of controller keybindings? Also from what it seems a lot of my keybindings dont do anything like blackout mode and my spotlight gets stuck on other than that I love it

Hey give this a try. I had same issue. Maybe this is yours

if you have anything like "free my controller" installed, take it out and re install the stock controls.

Then give it a try. After I did that I could use siren and lights with controller.

No they work fine but thats my problem i would be just going through the Trainer menus and turning my lights and sirens on

You have to use the keyboard keys maybe.

like NumPad keys or arrow keys for the trainer.

Have had no problems at all..

i still have siren mastery installed and it hasn't caused any problems but i know it does not work with els

I take more time choosing what patterns to use then I do actually playing the game!

Unfortunately ELS seems to be crashing my game once I select a car (this car has been updated to work with ELS).

I wonder if any one has a solution to this problem.

Free My Controller breaks ELS.
Is there any way around it?

You more than likely have installed a mod wrong, I know it's a pain, but try reinstalling your mods or atleast your latest mods.

You'll have to get rid of "Free My Controller". But I've noticed at least with the "B" button, ELS gets rid of the Camera Action for us.

I did, but it sucks. I had it for a reason.

And no, I use the Camera Action for Screenshots in MVGA.
A shame it was removed.

Just noticed this problem and haven't read anybody else mentioning it, but when I have just my warning and/or secondary lights on and I get out of the car they go extremely dim, as if I didn't have one of the visual mods, but if I am in the car or if I put all three light stages on they stay bright and look normal.

Hey, when I press U to change the light pattern my ped gets out of the car. I resetted all my keys and I don't know what to do please help!!

right i use one and then then cycle through the others and damn there's another one thats freaking awsome...it never ends..it changes the

game completely......its just like playing it again for the first time......

Anyone venture a guess how to get Scroll Lock to not be the key that locks out ELS. Scroll lock is my keyboard lights...
