Emergency Lighting System V brings one of the most popular modifications ever created for a GTA title (ELS-IV) to Grand Theft Auto V. ELS-V will add a whole new dimension to  your patrols. With a fresh look and many more features than its predecessor, it's also sure to brighten up your game and satisfy the emergency lighting enthusiast in anyone.

 

DESCRIPTION
− ELS provides an alternate and incredibly in-depth way of controlling emergency vehicle lights and sounds.
− ELS requires vehicle models specifically designed to make use of its features.
− ELS includes over 200 unique lighting patterns scattered across 4 light groups and lighting formats.

 

NOTES
− Please consult the ELS USER GUIDE and other provided documentation prior to using ELS.

− As of V1.00 ELS is not compatible with any form of multiplayer.
− A visual enhancement mod is recommended to improve the appearance of ELS lights in game.

 

BASIC INSTALLATION
− A GTAV ScriptHook must be installed for any .asi modification to work. The original may be found HERE.
− Using script modifications in GTA Online can result in a temporary or permanent ban from the service.
− 1. Place ELS.asi, ELS.ini, the ELS folder, and  AdvancedHookV.dll inside your main GTA V game directory.
− 2. Download and install (a) pro-ELS vehicle model(s).
− 3. Start your game.

 

CREDITS
− ELS is coded by Lt.Caine.

− AdvancedHookV and vehicle damage feature coded by LMS.
− ELS-V testing team (alphabetical order): Albo1125, BxBugs123, GravelRoadCop, PoliceWag, and Prophet.

What's New in Version 1.05

Released

  • Removed auto deletion of discarded ELS vehicles to prevent crashes when using certain LSPDFR plugins.
  • Removed ELS manipulation of AI vehicles as persistent/not persistent for same reason.
  • Removed strobe corona flash sounds (while retaining sound effects for halogen patterns).
  • Toggling the ELS information panel will now reload everything in the ELS.ini.
  • Fixed error in ELS User Guide that incorrectly associated SCNL with extra_11 and TKDL with extra_12 (the opposite is true).
  • Updated ELS User Guide to reflect new changes.
  • ELS.ini change: Added "AllowController" option to CONTROL section to allow enabling/disabling controller input for ELS.
  • ELS.ini change: Added "TogKeysLock" option to CONTROL section to allow changing ELS key lock button.

 

Please download the AdvancedHookV fix if you are using game build 3258.

    I can't get it to work :/

    I tried with out other mods and with out trainer but nothing changed.

    i uninstalled reshade too.

     

    Bugs's CVPI Just don't have emergency lights if i press E key.

    ELS any key no repsondings no ui no lock or unlock messege nothing... no ELS.log in game directory.

    I tried change key binding but still not working to me.

    Wow, you have to press the J key, read the default controls pdf.

    as i said i pushed every singel posible key incuding J key too.

     

    and if you didn't watched log file:  ASI: Loading "E:\Grand Theft Auto V\ELS.asi"

    Anyone else experiencing an issue with pattern changing? Installed as told to do so, ELS CVPI installed, properly.
     U and I are keyed to change PRIM and SECN patters...but it doesn't....

     

    Also some of the 'extras' spawn as I turn lights on.....I just popped this game back in, setting up a new desktop so theres only ELS installed currently, in addition to the ELS CVPI...nothing else.

     

    Anyone? Lol

    The extras spawn becuse the vehicle is not an ELS Supported vehicle. The only ELS Supported vehicle out there right now is the CVPI by BxBugs.

    Make sure you have the ELS menu on in game (ctrl+p) when changing the patterns.

    Fixed it. Forgot to remove the old bxliberty2 folder from my dlcpacks...it kept conflicting with that and patchday11 where the ELS cvpi is...

    UPDATE.

     

    RagepluginHook somehow Fixed my ESL Issue.

    Rageplugin hook said some DLL is locked by windows in my gta folder and unlocked by ragepluginhook, then mess something with my game version. Then ESL just started work. O_O

    So I'm having an issue with the controller. I have removed SirenMastery and FreeMyController, and all is back to default. But ELS still only works with the Keyboard. Any ideas as to what I'm missing?

     

    Would someone mind checking their directory to see if they have XInput1_4.dll at the bottom? If not, that file may be my issue.

    So far everything works perfect for me except that when I press U I exit the vehicle. I can't seem to pin point whats causing this. If anyone has some pointers, much apprciated. Otherwise this mod is basically perfect and works smoothly and properly.

    I found the issue, I still had an old Controller Mod enabled haha. Works like a charm now. My only request to the devs... Please allow us to customize the Controller controls if possible. In any case guys, GREAT WORK!!!
