Emergency Vehicle Theft Callouts 0.0.0.2

(3 reviews)

EVT_Callouts.png

With this callout pack, it adds more realism to LSPDFR as sometimes even emergency vehicles get stolen.

This pack includes all emergency vehicles, but does not include military vehicles, boats or helicopters (I felt that would of been a bit too much, maybe in a later update).

Installation Instructions

  1. Copy all the files in the GTAV Files directory to your Grand Theft Auto V folder (Normally Found in C:/Program Files(x86)/Steam/steamapps/common)
  2.  Launch GTA V with RagePluginHook and go on duty, LSPDFR will automatically load the plugin.

Please tell me what you think, this is my first plugin for LSPDFR, constructive criticism please

i feel as if this is to many chases. some people may like allot of chases but i think that this ruins reality. i respect the hard work but i would have loved to see more realistic callouts such as disturbances. Also there is already a callout for this just not with all the vehicles. all though I'm not 100% sure, i think you might have taken the API examples from the lspdfr API github and just switched vehicle names. if i am wrong please tell me.

Do you realize how many damn chases I get already?

It was not taken from the API example, I had read through them yes, and got an understanding of how things work and then started my own plugin from scratch (I hate copy and paste, it's cheating and you don't learn anything).

As for the amount of callouts (priority) you get from this, it may be because the Priority is set to Medium, which I will be changing in the next update.

You won't of seen any callouts for disturbances, purely because this pack was purely based on stolen emergency vehicles.

Ok, not my type of plugin then but i appriciate your work and that you didnt just copy off the API examples. I am not saying this is a bad callout pack, i am just saying for myself that i am more into realistic things. i mean how often does an emergency vehicle get stolen in real life. Again i respect your time and work on this and it sounds like it will be good for other people just not me.

What I meant by my previous statement is "Do you realize how many chase callouts have already been released?". Almost every callout plugin already released already has a chase callout in it. People aren't going to be interested in something that they already have and installing will only swamp them with the same callout.

yes u did do a good job on this plug in and i as well as the above appreacita the hard work that went into this, but as stated above stolen police vehicles already exists!! Between the current call outs for it and the AI ppl jumping in the police car when u out on a traffic stop is plenty lol!! Anyway hope to see some other call outs from you soon!!

I think it's a good idea considering in reality pursuits occur more often then most think and you don't hear about it on main media unless it involves a officer down, suspect down, or beating unfortunately. there is many pursuits that occur that end without a dramatic ending and are not published and yes police cruisers sometimes do get stolen and wrecked who do not utilize ignition belt locks or other safety mechanisms. I have been a very pro supporter of these for many years so only the medic, fire fighter or officer can release the vehicle out of park. good idea I think you added the chases to game.

This doesn't just install police vehicles, it also includes ambulance as well as firetruck. I do look to expanding on the idea to add things such as military vehicles and if people are interested I would like to add boats and helicopters.

If y'all do not like chases then why did y'all download a mod where you have to chase stolen vehicles? Common sense here

I didn't. And I posted my comment to explain why I didn't.

If I just complained about it, why would I have downloaded it? Common sense here.

Doesn't @Albo1125 already have emergency vehicles as part of his "Hot Pursuits" callout?

Common sense says to try something before you complain about it, and I suppose we should end this argument before moderators get angry with us.

But why....? I already have too many chase callouts.

Then ignore these ones and take 'em when you want to

I'm simply informing the author the reason why so they can improve their callouts. They may have some crazy potential but if they stick to doing the same old callout people won't see it. Don't recall complaining, simply commenting, since that's what section we're in right now.

Not sure if anyone else is getting a horrific drop in FPS when these callouts come over.  I was getting below 15 and sometimes as low as 7 fps.  Please look into this.
