Installation has been completely redone and simplified - you can now install all vehicles as standalone DLC packs. All installation is done with a few clicks of your mouse using OpenIV Installation Packages. No more editing of files necessary!

I am proud to finally present my LSSD Pack featuring a 2011 Crown Victoria, 2013 Tahoe (Marked and Unmarked), and 2013 Charger (Marked and Unmarked)! All vehicles feature ELS-inspired lighting setups (complete with environmental lighting) all accomplished without the use of any scripts or plugins. The lighting setup features all Federal Signal equipment and is complimentary to the other vehicles. The vehicles also feature the following extras:

 

  • Extra 1: Spotlight up (Sheriff Units)
  • Extra 2: Spotlight down (Sheriff Units)
  • Extra 7: Setina Rambar
  • Extra 10: Panasonic Arbitrator Dashcam
  • Extra 12: Stalker Radar Unit

Thanks to @FirstThirtyMinutes for featuring one of the vehicles and including an installation guide!

 

Installation uses OIV packages and is as simple as can be. To install the vehicle, just follow the directions in the readme or watch FirstThirtyMinutes's video above.

The Charger/Tahoe in the FIB/FIB2 slots currently don't support multiple liveries (just one) and I'm not quite sure why. I have the vehicles.meta set up properly. They do accept a single livery however, and their marked counterparts accept multiple liveries.

One last note: the included textures were quickly tossed together by me and are vanilla style. They aren't the best, so I apologize for that. If you would like to change them, templates are included. If you make a good quality black/white sheriff skin and would like me to use it as the default for my pack please message me!

Is there a way to just replace the fbi2 in patchday2ng and add the necessary carvariations and vehicles.meta and carcols lines? I already modified all these 3  files and I can't find the fbi2 lines in carcols. I'm no fan of OIV installers

Models are great. I've read through the comments so I am up to speed on recommendations. I have a pretty heavily modified game but everything works extremely smoothly (95% of the time anyway). My issue rests with the FBI. As mentioned, to ensure this model worked well, I ensured the FBI vehicles.meta was re-edited back to bone stock just like the original (removed all edits to the flags section that had been amended previously). I also removed the edited carcariations.meta to remove the fbi one I had in place to cooperate with bxbugs' cars. So as it stands, nothing should be interefering with your FBI model, especially as your model being installed, I thought at least, should represent the most up to date information the game uses for the specified vehicles slots (fbi+fbi2). However the rear window lightbar, like others, is sitting on the front of the hood. Any further suggestions. Have I missed another different carvariation file somewhere. I know you advised using a new mod slot. That's just not realistic for me with all the mods I have running in the game. Just cant put my finger on specific location of this issue. Anyones advice is appreciated.

It's going to be a carvariations conflict somewhere. You'll have to check previously installed modifications to look for it.

Yup. Figured it out. found the problem. fixed it. no more problem. I have a bunch of vehicles ideas and designs and as smart as I think I am, I know I don't have the technical prowess to make models to this quality. Would be great to connect and share some ideas I have.

You two are the masters of vehicles with Coronas. What honestly would it take to get something even close to this? Arguably one the coolest FPIU walkarounds I have ever seen. What a vehicle.

Its absolutely next level. So cool, Esp if you can get the ELS setup? The lighting alone of this slicktop is beautiful. The placements with the current lighting skills you both posses. amazing vehicle. No-one can do it with coronas like you both can.

How do I get rid of these light patterns. I cant replace sheriff or sheriff 2 with anything because the light patterns you made made their lights look bad

Charger tail lights are still messed up on both sheriff and FBI models.  The front turn signals are in the wrong place too.  Actually the headlights, high beams, tail lights, and turn signals on all of the models need some adjustments here and there.  Hope you can find time to fix them.  Still the best work you've done to date, Captain.  The patterns and EVL are sick.  Keep it up :thumbsup:

Your amazing pack used to work great for weeks, then Rockstar has released his last f***ng update ! :pinch:
Now your pack (not only yours ; everyone's add-on pack) crashes my game since the last update :sad: I've downloaded the last RPH version, with the last PluginHook's, and even if I launch the game "normaly", without RPH, it crashes...

It's maybe usual when a new update is released, but I'm quite new sooo... Do I have to wait for something to download to make it work with the new version or is there something I can do to avoid crashes ?

Same here, I did what I usually do when a update occurs but this time no cars in the "mod" seem to be working in thinking its a Openiv thing and something needs to be update in there end cause I've tried everything except replacing the originals files cause I try to have that be the last thing I do but I lost power due to a hurricane and haven't had the chance to test that theory.

maybe I'm doing it wrong, but it renders my game unable to start after installing this package. Tried installing the fix but then I just start getting memory errors which forces the game to close.

No, the lightbars on these vehicles are configured specifically for the siren settings used. Other vehicle makers could create vehicle to fit these patterns, but as of now, no one has.

@Captain14 Great mods so far esp. that Dodge Charger. I've heard some rumors about the 10th generation Chevy Impala undercover unit in development & idk if that's true or not, so I would like an update on that. I also want to make a suggestion for a 2015 Chevy Silverado Park Ranger/Sheriff Truck & hope u could find the time to consider the mod into development & can't wait to see it in the game. 💯💯💯💯💯😎😎😎😎😎😎

Is there any way to use the sheriff charger without the yellow lights and instead have just the blue/red? The sheriff tahoe spawns sometimes with all blue/red, but I haven't been able to find a way for the charger to do so. I've gone through all the extras on both vehicles with no luck.

  1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
