Karin Dilettante Template Marked unit and NEW Parking Enforcement 3.0.0

Hello Fellow Officers:

To Be honest I didn't think this was going to be my first model that I would release to LSPDFR but I saw someone had posted a request with a poll asking who would want to see a Marked version of the Karin Dilettante and I decided to give it a shot and see how it would come out and hopefully fullfill the request as well. I do not plan on adding anything and or fixing anything else with the vehicle as I just made it to practice and hopefully fullfill the request. Hope you all enjoy a different kind of police vehicle that will also save you gas lol.

-Known Issue-
-The Vehicles front left wheel and tire sit high. I'm not sure if the handeling is not correct as I don't make handling lines which is why their isn't one with the model and or the carvariation needs to be changed because it was one I made for a Mitsubishi vehicle that I made as well and didn't want to spend the time making a custom one. Thank you for the fix. It is now working properly.
~~-SA Exempt plate is mapped to the car however for some reason in game it doesn't load up.~~

V 2.0.0 Update:

Well I've come a long way from what I first knew how to do in regards to modding and figured it should be applied and tested with my first model to see how well it would come out and I must say I'm glad I did. I was able to fix the SA License Plate Exempt problem so now the proper plate is on the car, Also I redid the Template and made the model Multi-Livery Supported as well, Finally I went through the LOD's and made it so the vehicle was visable from a distance and not just two cops sitting in thin air to add to the details of the car. I'm still no photoshop expert but thats why their is a template for the model for you to do better with.

V 3.0.0 Update:

I've finally mastered a parking enforcement vehicle at the request in the comments and it is its own file to download for anyone that would like to use it. It is used in the lguard slot or the Lifeguard vehicle replacement (I don't care for lifeguard patrolling so didn't want to replace something else that I like). Has a few issues but its pretty solid for what I could get to work.

-Known Issue-
-Vehicle Skin is not perfect but template is provided so you can make a better one then me :). Also the vehicle will spawn a weird look. Simply change the color of the vehicle in your trainer to white for both primary and secondary and this will fix it.

-Dials are not working. Tried but didn't have any luck with them.

-Vehicle engine is constantly high and sounds like granger. Not sure if its possible to change this.

Thank you. I can help you fix the handling line, if you want to include one.

Also, try fixing that bug with the wheels being high up, and then the car is perfect!

I'll add it it isn't a big deal if you have a handling line. If you can do you think you can work on the car variation as well? I'm pretty sure that's what is causing the wheel issue. If anything it would make it more real as it sounds like in game it has a gas only engine

Thanks for telling me about the template as well. I'll upload it when I get home. I wanted to just upload a folder I had to make the download easier however I'm not sure how to do it.

I was looking for a dilettante police version for ages! Any idea if it can be used in the dilettante2 slot? Because I really want to have a real security car, not a simple car with a security texture

Your welcome to try it. Simply rename the files from police3 to the file name and replace. The light bar might not work is all.

Nice! Any chance you could make a version with Lifeguard SUV's lightbar since that lightbar looks close enough to that of the LAPD Parking Enforcement Prius.

You can just take the collision from the stock dilettante.

Thank you that was what I was going to do. I have done this and it fixed it. Thanks for the direction on where to fix the issue.

I've reuploaded it with the Template and wheel fix now. I'll work on a possible parking enforcement looking one for the request I got with a yellow light bar

I gave it a try. The only way I could get it to work was through using the vehicle as lguard or in the lifeguard spot. Which would maybe be ideal as its an extra slot but unfortuantely the vehicles textures inside wouldn't load correctly and the placement of the ped in the vehicle wasn't right either. You could see there feet through the floor and almost on the road lol. I got the lightbar to work though haha.

I don't know much about vehicle models editing, but I believe it has something to do with "vehicles.meta".

Well that fixed that and now it works. The only problem I am having is the textures which is from the carvariations.meta file. Do you know where to find the default one for X64e?

I changed the vehicle meta it still isn't working. I changed the car variations and it worked however I change it and its mapped to the red and blue lightbar so I'm not sure how to change that.

Nope still no luck. Its gotta be something else that's causing it. I'll try and start over again if I have time today if not tomorrow and try and get it working.

oooh i like that parking enforcement car. i've wanted to do enforcement but never had the "right" car for it..and with that yellow lightbar..thats good thinkin right there!

I see you got the lights working! The Dilenttante parking enforcement cruiser looks awesome, I will definitely use it for parking enforcement. :thumbsup:
