Is it that hard to install this vehshare and see what textures are different between the two, so you can extract them to install them in the vehshare you modified? Be smart, do it like a grown-up man.

Its alright man ill tell you the textures. 

dodge_steelie, dodge_steelie_dirt, dodge_steelie_n, dodge_steelie_spec, duelratnik, duelratnik_n, goodyear68 

Just export these textures to the desktop (for example) and then import them into yours. Though I have experienced problems where it will no longer import textures once there is a certain amount in or the file size is too big (im not sure which one) so if that happens to you then you will have to remove some other textures.

Yes I have planned on updating the unmarked and adding a rambar. I just have not found the time to finish it yet but ill upload the new updated version in the near future.

@PSource Hey Mate. Just curious. I know the rambar update will likely be coming soon (Fingers crossed) - I was wondering, either as an extra or not, that some Whelan lights (just like the ones either side of the rear-view mirror) could be added to the side of the vehicle so when sitting sideways peds/vehicles can see this is a police/fbi vehicle. Currently from the side you couldn't tell it from any other vehicle. If not that's cool. Just a small suggestion. Looking forward to getting the rambar.

Yeah I was meant to add more lights to the side of the car when it was first released but did not get around to it, so there will definitely be some there next update along with the rambar. Thank you for the feedback, Ill upload the updated one very soon!!

No the textures are now embedded in the .ydr so you no longer need to add textures to vehshare.

So I have added the carvariations.meta lines you provided into the existing mpchristmas2 carvariations.meta along with the vehicles.meta that were provided into the same dlcpack. I followed everything in the ReadMe, the model loads ingame fine but all of the lights are extremely dimmed and hardly visible (Excluding the taillights). I am using Radiance V and it works with every other vehicles. The lightbars and LED on the FBI Buffalo seem to be just loading the blue/red texture but not actually lighting up. I hope I wasn't too confusing. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Mmmm not quite sure. Do other light on other cars looked dimmed a swell or is it just this car? If you do not mind taking a screenshot to help me understand what problem you are having that would be helpful.

Yeah it's a little bit confusing. The other vehicles are working just fine, no problemo and your model loads in fine aswell, just no working lights. Attached a short video file next to two other cars for comparison. Its basically like the lights are switching from white to grey.

This is definietly strange as the lights dont even give off any sort of red and blue effect. Have you set you postfx (i think thats it) to high/very high? If its not that then let me know and ill investigate but since I havent had any one else having problems like that then it must be your end.

I haven't edited the PostFX as far as I know. I kinda figured it would be on my end aswell but just odd to me its only doing it with one vehicle so I figured I'd ask. Lemme know if you want me to send you any of my files if it will help diagnose. Thank you! 

 

 

EDIT: Turns out the solution was just as simple as adjusting the PostFX in PauseMenu>System>Graphics. The lights work on Ultra and Very High but nothing below it (In my case).

I wish the readme specified the exact file locations of the carvariations and carmeta to modify! :/ 

 

update: also can't find the fbi line in mpchristmas2 carvarations to replace. 

I know i'm a noob but usually they have exact locations in readme's and I can find everything. car looks great though, nice work.

You need to add the lines to the mpchristmas 2 carvariations as the original settings are encrypted and cannot be edited. 

You can replace the fbi lines for the vehicles.meta located in update/update.rpf/common/data/levels/gta5.

Thankyou. And where do I place the fbi vehicle files? Not sure where to put those. Sorry for the questions.

Yes there wont be any lines for the FBI already in the mp christmas2 carvariations unless you already added one there from another mod, so just add the in.

Hello, 

I installed this and your Highway car pack and for some reason the lights don't come out red and blue but orange and white for me, Have I done something wrong in the installation?
I installed the files "Fbi.yft" ... ect into x64e and the Carvariations.meta and Vehicles.meta into the one you specified.

If i've done something wrong would you be able to point that out for me?
